Why no Singapore in A1GP?

  I am surprised that Singapore did not send a team to A1 GP. Especially after missing out on F1 and all the talk about wanting to be world class in sports...
  
  As a Malaysian living in Singapore, I am proud to see my country participating. And scored some points in the first main race yesterday.
  
  I am sure Singapore has a lot of capable drivers -- it is just strange that there is no interest from Singapore.
  
  What do you think?

  I think if singapore was to spend money on these things, there will be a bunch of people who are going to kpkb.

  think the best sg driver is dennis lian driving in the asian festival of speed.
  
  but look at the go kart tracks lar.. most ppl cant get a good lap without spinning..
  
  also, most sg cars go over to mas for some garage works.. telling us something bout local mechanics? u do know that a A1GP team needs to have mechanics right?

  go-kart???.....we got more push carts than go karts....

  The only go kart track in SG just changed not long ago... last time, there were some very fun S curves to take... now that stretch is just one straight road... kinda mild now...
