Lower pump prices at Shell and SPC stations

  Shell and Singapore Petroleum Company (SPC) have reduced their pump prices.
  
  Shell lowered their prices from noon on Monday followed by SPC one-and-a-half hours later.
  
  Shell Formula 98, Shell Formula 95, Shell Formula 92 and Shell Diesel were cut by three cents per litre.
  
  Shell V-Power now costs two cents less per litre.
  
  Shell says the reductions are because internationally traded finished product prices have started to ease.
  
  SPC reduced its petrol and diesel prices by three cents a litre.
  
  Others like ExxonMobil and Caltex also followed suit.
  
  Just beginning this month, the companies had increased their pump prices by 5 to 9 cents per litre.
  
  This due in part to the effects of Hurricane Katrina in the US, which cut oil refining capacity.

  i'd love to see them make a mistake and make fuel prices like 3 cents per liter hahahah i would but as much as possible and store at my house hahahaha

  Is the site discount still fixed at 6 percent? Or at a lower percentage following the reduction?? If the later do occur it will defeat the purpose of a reduction.
  
  However, car owners will have to accredit CASe for questioning petrol company earlier on in relations to this issue. As this(I believe) has in some ways influences the decision in the reduction in pump prices.

  I dunno if I shld feel happy about this... Hopefully its the beginning of the down-trend of oil prices (which i doubt so)... Otherwise if they are reducing the price just for show to CASE, $1.50 per full tank is hardly much consolation compared to the previous $0.17/l increase over 2 weeks which amounts to $8.50 per full tank for me... The day that the oil "cartel" do not dissolve, there isn't much to rejoice about... Just live with if that increasing oil prices is the norm...
