Probation Plate

  Hello everyone,
  
  Just like to check the correct way of placing the probation plate. I presume the correct way of placing it is on the top left hand (front) and top right hand (rear) corner of the car. But I saw lots of car having their probation plate stick on the bottom instead. If I will to do that, will I get caught by the traffic police?

  thought the P plate comes with instruction on where to stick it?

  yes u r right the correct placement tat u meantion r the instruction tat come along with it whenu buy the p-plate.
  
  i am not sure if TP will catch a nt if nv follow haha, but i follow the instruction of placing the p-plate

  eh, i stick my P plate at the bottom in the front and top at the back...
  
  so far pass TP so many times nv get caught... my father say as long u go put, they wont catch...

  personally i think the TP won't catch u as long as the 2 p plates are up.
  
  as for the recommended location, it's to make it easier for the drivers to notice the p plate cos the whole idea of having them is to alert the other drivers that you're still quite new on the road. so guess it's for safety purpose that you put it in the recommended location.

  actually i can't be bothered...as long as the p-plate is on the top conerer of my rear and front windscreens thats wad matters most...i dun think TP will even be so picky as that the location must be standardised

  i think the tp have more important things to do than to spot people placing the p plate wrongly.

  Front plate no problem, back plate need to see condition.
  
  Place the plate at the right corner, preferably at the top.
  But if you can see the rear view more clearly & fully when placed
  at the bottom, please continue to placed at the bottom right corner.
  Usually placing at the bottom also pose no problem, because our rear view
  has always been blocked a bit by the backseat headrest.
  
  Safety is more important.
