Which one should I buy? I'm looking for performance and value for money. -

not too sure bout Audi...though, cant see much difference between e earlier batch n newer batch in terms of engine....
seen CNA comparing Golf with a similar Skoda model...reviews still stand for Golf... if u looking for more powerful cars y not GTI or alfa GTA
i would still go for alfa!
seems like e twinspark engines are a gem to e owners.. -
VW, Audi and Skoda are under the same grouping. Won't surprise me if all use similar components.

b) dun have "high" power steering, and
c) dun have "strong" ext. body?
it is obvious that the threadstarter wanted a comparison between the 3 performance based models, to be specific, the alfa 147 GTA, audi A3 sportback quattro and VW golf R32 4motion. giving biased opinions based on keen knowledge of one particular brand u are familiar with obviously shouldn't be the objective of ur post.
btw, big fuel tank is no advantage IMO when u are talking bout modding car. more fuel = more weight = slower car.
me personally think either the VW or Audi makes a better driving platform, AWD versus FWD of the GTA. engines also pack more potential for power being force inducted in comparison with the GTA's NA characteristics. not ragging on the GTA entirely though, i do have the impression that the GTA would be more fun to be driven and more reliable in the long run. -
Alfa cars are known for the sweet engine note, maybe this ia a + point?

wll the audi and the VW have one big advantage which is the DSG gearbox....now thats one sweet innovation....alot better than the selespeed...for me i'd personally pick the audi cos of tis build quality and its roots....if u know what am i talking abt

Go for the Audi its a much better marque as compared to its parent company VW and the alfa is old... handling is much better on a AWD

The difference is the quattro and the DSG gearbox. Go for a test drive and you will feel the difference. Looks like Audi A3 is a strong contender. But the Golf has identical specs :

The Golf should be cheaper, so it makes sense to buy the Golf? -

147 GTA - is simply lik a mistress... hot & sexy as hell able to satisfy ur driving desires and make u come back for more... if u want a wife - then u are making the wrong choice.
Definitely not THE perfect car, but look at its curves, the interior leather, the freakin chromed ventricles and the V6 chorus... and tell me tat u dun desire it..
then throw in the price of $145K incl COE for the 147GTA Selespeed... (wit some bargaining can get it lower)...
quick... ONLY 2 units left, 1 black & 1 silver - i recommend tat u get the black cos its kept under shelter unlike the silver... try it and resistance shall be futile.
trust me... haha!
p.s: how much u think the Golf R32 & Audi 3.2 will cost? $150k?...
