Small car, small engine.Originally posted by JJC:So is 1.3L why so less??
i saw some information on USA website it said that is 2.5L to 3L.
1.3L is just the volume of the space of the cylinder...and since rotary works very differently from a normal conventional piston engine... you can't compare the power to displacement ratio with other piston engine cars...Originally posted by ditzy:Small car, small engine.Give you 1.3l but pushing out power close to the big brothers mah.

yea but, the EVO ans WRX are both boosted, the RX8 is N/A turbo the RX8 and you'll get closer to 320hp.Originally posted by silv3rgal:1.3L is just the volume of the space of the cylinder...and since rotary works very differently from a normal conventional piston engine... you can't compare the power to displacement ratio with other piston engine cars...
But it's rotary engine doesn't give as much BHP as an EVO or WRX... correct me if i'm wrong.. it only gives 231bhp?
not economical at all. My fren pump every 2-3days. it may be 1.3 but its rotary engine. consumption as good as those with 2.5-3L or somthing.Originally posted by alexkusu:1.3....sounds economical...
Wah lau eh, of course not lah!Originally posted by alberteinstein:then what is the road tax? same as march 1.3l or another value?
the increase is based on the type of turbo...if u use those small/normal turbo u at at most 25-75 horses increase...while if u use a large Garrett T28 turbo i think it can get u about 100+ horses...Originally posted by Sigmaprojects:yea but, the EVO ans WRX are both boosted, the RX8 is N/A turbo the RX8 and you'll get closer to 320hp.
Wah so cheap ar. In Oz, the basic starts at AUD$54K.Originally posted by Sigmaprojects:here in the stats RX8 cost around $26K before tax and registration
