A good question which i dunno.. but if i m not wrong r u asking about ralliart 1.8 with a normal 2.0?? FC in the end depends on the driver as in how much they floor it... eg... A drive at around 2.5-3k rpm... B drive 5k rpm.. who use up more petrol? but den again.. if u comparing ralliart with camry... camry should b lower FC as ralliart uses mivec engine which is thirsty for blood wherelse camry uses vvti by right should be more economical.Originally posted by silv3rgal:As above....

i might be wrong though -
the lancer 1.8 T gets over heat very easily. therefore, with high temperature in the engine bay, the FC is definitely not going to be any good

For what i heard is that this new version of ralliart , the intercooler is not good enough... causing it to heat up fast. With a Mivec turbocharge engine a bit similar to evo but lower performance and CC... Well.. as long as u drive it around 3 k rpm max.. FC should be still quite acceptable... but den.. if u go high.. when mivec engine start to really suck in huge amt of petrol... its unimaginable.. cozz for what i kno of mivec engine of older models.. once u really step on the gas you will see the fuel meter drop in around 5-10mins if u hit hard. get a normal lancer with sohc engine... the FC is 13... but if u really save on it..can go to 15...den bodykit it up to ralliart... thats what i have been seeing nowadays on the rd... cheaper rd tax too and insurance.. u can go JB to install dry clutch for the sound... ad extanded pipe with semi filther n change the air filther to dial type.. the sound should b similar except for the performance... but den.... if u really wan to go for ralliart.. the previous version is better...design oso better...Originally posted by silv3rgal:Yes, bingo, i'm talking about ralliart turbo... in comparison to normal 2.0L cars (not those turbo/modded ones).... just wanna check it's cost of driving such a car...whether it's smiliar to that of driving a 2.0L car....

As i said in my previous post... FC depends on the driver.... if u compare to luxury 2.0 car... i believe the FC is better den lancer... but i heard mazda 2.0 fc not that good leh... get another type of T car ba... like mit colt turbo 1.5... lolz -

even though the cmi sillycar ss1 (which is under the sports category) has no engine hooha... u still can make do with its chai chia factor.

and for goodness sick.. how can a GLX look like an evo..... maybe to a noob , yes...even after some modification, the ralliart version still doesn't look the slightest like an evo. -

Nowdays, the Ralliart logo become abit too commercialised la. Every Lancer Sports comes with the Ralliart Sticker, The 'Spirit of Competition' sticker, and heck, I saw a Colt and a Grandis with the Ralliart windshield sticker.
I mean, seriously nothing wrong, but won't you feel weird if even Camrys come with the TRD stickers? Or Odysseys with the MUGEN stickers?
As for Turbo.. the Turbo is an Intake system.. FC depends on ALOT of variables.. So there is no fixed definition of FC.. If you like flooring your car, then even the Lancer can have the same FC as a, say, conservative BMW 5 Series.
Lancer and Evolution? LOL even if you do manage to get the same car body, I'm sure a 2.0 Turbo engine will sound way different from a 1.6. Try wheelspin with the Lancer lor. The clutch plate fall out. LOL! =P -

And it's definately impossible for a lancer to get an exact same body as an evo, even if it has an evo bodykit due to their different dimensions, don't even need to hear it's engine... one look you'll know it's fake.
Since turbo compresses the air intake which allows more fuel to be added...I'm just curious to know what is the MINIMUM FC for a 1.8L turbo..coz i thought some fellow forumers might have driven this car b4...

If u really want to compare , it will depend on how u drive. It u say driving normally both cars.. they consume around the same petrol. But newer model of cars have revolutionalised engines to try to save petrol. Thats why u can install Air-Controllers to tune between rich air or no. It just basically means the more boost ur turbo..the more petrol u burn. U boost the turbo to 18 pounds.. its gonna dry ur tank like no tomorrow. If u drive normally and change gear at the right time .u will save petrol. its like driving a 2.5 litre Diesel turbo is as much as a 2.00 litre luxury car. They burn petrol like there is no tomorrow. But for every turbo car.. standard boost is 7 pound. so yeah.. i dun think it wastes much petrol. Does that answer ur question ? or.. my answer not even relevant to ur question. Oh..n those Ralliart , Nismo bs... man.. if its really tuned by them... then put on thier logos.. other then that.. its just a slap on sticker. Its like me slapping ona blitz sticker but having no blitze components at all.
