  what do they mean if im not wrong the blue and yellow plate means its a hybrid car rite? what about the others?

  the half-blue, half-yellow plate represents hybrid cars....
  white front + yellow back or both blacks are just for normal cars. Both set are acceptable, although LTA encourages us to use the white-yellow combi bcos it gives better visibility

  half blue-yellow diagonal plates are not hybrid cars.... half blue yellow diagonal are meant for those Share-a-car scheme which so happens those companies doing the share-a-car scheme use mostly hybrid cars.
  
  personal hybrid cars use normal license plates.

  these be Classic Cars.. can also self import yourself.. ut pay full tax/ duties etc

  haf blue n yellow plates are those car under R & D scheme. pay less tax or no tax i not sure but very cheap 2 bring in one without paying all the add res n tax.

  Half green and red with the Letter "RU" follow by numbers and an alphabet is meant for vehicle under "Restricted Use" only.
  
  Normally for offshore commercial vehicles. Quite rarely seen in mainland.

  I don't think so all share-a-car scheme cars uses blue+yellow plate license plate cos I've seen such cars with normal plates... But I've found out tt personal hybrid cars indeed use normal license plates...
  
  Blue-yellow license plates are ONLY for hybrid cars in a sharing scheme that is to promote environmental-friendly services as an alternative to public transport...

  Normal sharing-scheme cars do not use these plates

  OPC, can only use 7pm-7am weekdays, and on weekends.
