I wonder how many thread have I answer with the links above. Don't anyone search post anymore?![]()
Nay, not accurate at all. Published fuel consumption figures for Japanese cars follow their Transport Ministry's 10.15 mode. If you know about the 10.15 mode, you'll know that no one drives that way. Even and slow acceleration, maintain even speed, even and slow deceleration, etc....not realistic lah.Originally posted by heluim:how true is the data base.. how reliable is the info![]()
Bro, that list is contributed by Singapore drivers (members of My car forum) driving in Singapore. Unless some hidden SEs fake the figures there, those are actually real datas. I also did my part for the FC of kelisa. Why don't you all input your to make the list more accurate.Originally posted by gentlerock:Nay, not accurate at all. The most accurate figures I've seen are still the US EPA estimates, yet its only applicable to the US driver's driving styles.

......
To BREAK-EVEN, that would mean the you have to travel more than [b]1200km PER MONTH. I certainly don't

Yo, sorry...misunderstanding. I meant the published fuel consumption rates, as in Japanese car brochures. Wasn't referring to your list.Originally posted by wbucket:Bro, that list is contributed by Singapore drivers (members of My car forum) driving in Singapore. Originally posted by gentlerock:......Honestly, my FC is very uneven. Depending on my mood, it can be 10.0-11.0 km/litre.....or it can be 6.5-7.5 km/litre.
Wah lau eh!! 19.7 km/litre.....your car solar powered one arh?Originally posted by wbucket:Everyone also depend on mood lah. My best 19.7km/L, My worse 14.7km/L.
maybe he got himself a prius?Originally posted by gentlerock:Wah lau eh!! 19.7 km/litre.....your car solar powered one arh?
Actually, those with high-consumption vehicles like my station wagon all regret now. haha....should have bought a Kelisa lah.
Bro, everyone know I drive a Kelisa la. Anyway, my best was other's average. So this Kelisa can still goes with lesser fuel. Having 3 cylinder only does helps a lot in term of FC and maintainences. 1 less spark plug, 1 less litre of engine oil, ...etc.Originally posted by nomood:maybe he got himself a prius?
or better still, one of those unreleased hybrid cars. such as the bmw 745HiL... or something like that...
based on my experience with nissan and the fact that toyota is well known for fuel saving, i would sau altis consume less fuelOriginally posted by jameswee001:Anyone owning a new Nissan Ex saloon ? How is the petrol consumption ?
or Toyota Altis ?
Latio have not earn the title of fuel drinker yet. But Altis has weaker comments compared to its perceptor Collora.Originally posted by pqr:based on my experience with nissan and the fact that toyota is well known for fuel saving, i would sau altis consume less fuel
Need to specify it is City-idsi. I don't think the "V-tec" version is as FC-wise as its "idsi" borther.Originally posted by david3305:Jazz and City has great FC and has been verified and tested. You can get 16.5 to 18km/litre based on 30/70 driving style(30=urban, 70=highway)
Hahaha.. hybrid cars are EX man! Even with the green car rebates.. With the money you save getting a petrol one instead of getting a hybrid car, you can pump ALOT of petrol..Originally posted by nomood:maybe he got himself a prius?
