Any tips for passing TP at first try?

Erm... i've this probelm that i met many times....
Say... is there's a flock of pigeons on the road in front of you... pecking at their delicious lunch and ignore at danger coming to them
And i'm going towards them... praying for them to fly off when i'm near.... but finally, they didn't.....
okay, i met this situation for 2 times on the road... 1st instructor tell me to horn them... and muz nver stop! Then the 2nd one told me to drive THRU!!!
OMG! Who shld i listen to?
From my personal experience though, once you get close enough, they'll fly off. I haven't encountered a scenario where the birds don't.
As for the advice for your TP test, slow down but don't stop. Just drive through. Trust me, that 99.999%, the birds will fly away. They're less responsive but not stupid. -
haha..these birds must be thinking "ha! knn..bang into me la..i claim ur insurance!!" wahaha, then when the realised things not right, so fly off last min..
but i heard its pretty suay if u run over birds/cats/dogs when u're learning driving. was told by my instructor last time. but anyway, if u're from bbdc, just pray at the temple beside ur centre..the guan yin is nearer so can watch u better! hehe. -
The tester has to feel safe in the car you're driving; the rest is easy.

But there's this interesting instructor of mine who actually told me to run over it! and that's what he did too! lol.
He told me that he was on the road going ard 70km/h and suddenly a flock of birds is infront~ then he looked at this rear mirror and realised that all the cars behind him is rushing and he has no choice but to run over those birds (Which actually really didn't fly off!!!).
Then he told me that he look at his rear mirror after he run thru them... and saw them struggling on the floor.... LOL! OMG

i did encounter birds too when i took my test, but tat was the first encounter i had. i juz slowed down slightly, and i didn;t bother if it was run over.
all i could think of was to make the tester feel safe thru out the ride.. thats the most impt bah. -
hi...i have some questions regarding vertical parking. Up till now, i can't park when it comes to vertical parking. My instructor always told me that i turn too early. Can anyone help?? My TP is this fri...

I got a Military license. Class 3 & 4. Does it help if I tell him?

It's not hard to pass on first try. Don't be nervous, trust the car (important), and have confidence.. esp, check BLIND SPOTS, TP like to hiam on blind spots, and better to stop at amber light than try to chiong..
Circuit should be no kick, but when outside.. just be careful can le..
Oh yes, and heck care if people horn you.. tell yourself you must faster pass so you can go horn them back.. wahaha

OK. i pass tp first time today. i'm 18. and took 2 months to complete the whole course.
Grooming Check List: Hair style, hair colour, shirt, pants, shoes.
Exsample: side parting, black colour, polo t-shirt, any long pants, cover shoes.
Attitude Check List: Polite, Polite, and Polite
Exsample: Morning Sir, Say sorry when u know u did something wrong, thank you sir.
Driving Check List: Blind Spot got also check no need also check ( Imagine got 1 chio bu stand there), Must be daring got chance then overtake or drive out filter lane, dont be nervous treat him a statue (majiam nv talk at all), Remember to turn at 2nd gear only, MUST hit the maximum speed allowed (my full 18 points all tio speed slow, although i drive 65km/hr at SL of 70km/hr), Do not overtake bus unless those stop at kerb side.
Overall, blind spot most important. When he say about ur mistake listen FIRST, then defend yourself with reasonable excuses and ask for chance. haha. GOOD luck to all. -
hey congrats on passing. i'm 18 too. rushing to get license. booked 23 practicals in a span of 4 weeks. now on my 7th practical. i'm taking at cdc tho. what i hate abt gg practical is i need to adjust to the instructor. some say go on, go faster. some say 40km/h enough, wad for fast fast.
so how was ur test? easy? nervous? -
Is there any 'minimum' practical lessons you must complete before taking TP? Or is it once the driving instructor says you're ok then you can go le?

i heard now its a must to book at LEAST 6 revisions before u sit for ur tp..woooooo..new way to make $$.
