Yes, but there are exception. Picanto is 1. Accent didn't drink much either, just that it isn't outstandingly good to be notice. I think both Matrix and Getz 1.3(A) kind of created the bad name. Which other korean cars drinks? I believe most have similar FC as compared to Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Mazda cars.Originally posted by kmkm:Korean cars are known to drink heavy.
true. my 1.4M rio is abt 12km/lit, very close to many other cars. but picanto can reach like 15km/lit on heavy footing.Originally posted by wbucket:Yes, but there are exception. Picanto is 1. Pi on heavy foot will definitely go lower than 15km/L. I read it in the sgkiaclub. As for Jazz, it is meant to be a comfort ride. So sometimes it might be fustrating when you step, the car still goes slowly. That might be why the low FC due to the heavy foot. when people say some cars are very fc friendly, dunno how true it is. mycarforum list of data base, even the famous jazz also drink only like 14-15km/lit, not the claimed 20km/lit. sometimes, many ppl exxagerated.
jazz slow meh? wait until you try my car...Originally posted by wbucket:Pi on heavy foot will definitely go lower than 15km/L. I read it in the sgkiaclub. Sorry, used the wrong word. Should be smooth. Now the acceleration is too smooth that you don't feel the rush. Am I correct to say that? So how's your driving style vs FC?Originally posted by alberteinstein:jazz slow meh? wait until you try my car...
See! Supposely good FC, but most driver of this model is heavy-footed. Thus all the FC submitted isn't that great. Anyway, I calculate FC by averaging. Thus it will even out the brim filling issue.Originally posted by alberteinstein:when i just got my car 1 mth ago, i light foot. Fc abt 12km/lit. After 1 mth, when i start going jb to pump petrol, since it is so dirt cheap, din really care abt fc anymore. More heavy footing now. FC din calculate anymore since i find it very hard to consistently fill up to the brim.(to the brim is very subjective. until now still havnt grapse the correct way to fill to brim)![]()
my fren driving jazz manual can hit about 18+Originally posted by wbucket:See! Supposely good FC, but most driver of this model is heavy-footed. Thus all the FC submitted isn't that great. Anyway, I calculate FC by averaging. Thus it will even out the brim filling issue.

occurs to me there is only manual transmission but would like to confirm with the bros here.
agree.. probably as weak as e jazz.. slow ride..Originally posted by Theatre Of Dreams:seriously even if there's auto, i doubt it'll mate well with a 1.1L powerplant. car would be damn weak & sluggish...
