be it cars,lorries or vans....will take pics nxt time round ....

I think the threadstarter is talking about Yishun Dam. U do get to see quite a number of car groups coming down here for meetups.

i know the yishun dam, me and my frens like to go there blow wind talk cock also. But we not those choing cars group, just like the atmosphere there. Saw many choing cars there too, those young one with moded cars, stickers, special wings, LEDs. Also somethings got those "speaker van".
And if u go further inside...... u see cars parked in very dark area, sometimes u see tissue paper left behind....... u can actually see couples in car go in, after a long while come out again.......
hard to tell u where it is, it's the outer roads of yishun, near OCC, just keep going in and u are there at them dam.
and by the way, it's not a "big car park". it's a long straight road, 2way,2 lane on each. both side of the road is water. The wind is very refreshing, got the "out of town" relaxing feel. nice place to get some drinks at 7-11, then go there and park along there road, then talk cock with frens. -

i alway there on sat wit some of my Vannin Club guys.. quite a good place to relax and chit chat.. but abit crowded, cos sometime no place to park, end up friend parking north east south west....

last time i went i think got illegal immigrant doing cooking there inside the bush.
cos i saw smokes coming out from under the bridge. -

It's just a stretch of long straight road.
And they cnt do that now coz of the road hump placed, and no more cheap thrill for cheapster coz the dark area has all the safety poles put up blocking the way..
Anyway Yishun Dam was nicer in 8 or 9 years ago.
Less crowd cleaner place and quieter
And yishum dam has another name call "half salt water" in hokkien or "Jui Zha"
Reason: Coz the dam has two side. One side seawater, the other is the reservior water.

Just came back from there. Saw about 15 kelisas, 5 vios, 6 Getz and a particular Suzuki Liana mpv i think, maybe it's Kia Carens, anyway it got this sticker on back bumper "If you can see this sticker, you win!"...oh plus many other vehicles like kangoos, lancers, wrx and civics...

Ya, I was surprised too. Was supposed to be about 5-6 Kelisa. Went there, wow. So many new guys. I think Suzuki club is there too. Its located right at the end of Yishun Ave 1. Alternatively, u can come by Seletar Camp. Just make sure u follow the signboards towards Seletar Country Club, but after exiting at the gate of Seletar Camp, don't go straight towards Seletar Country Club. Turn right and follow the rd until u see some water bodies. That would be Yishun Dam.

it is a rather good place for meetups... friday normally the car clubs will be down there for their regular TCSS sessions.. saturdays also have its fair share..
