Hi all,
We are here to give opinions, not to fight over it as every car has their own pros and cons, and atttact pple from diff background. Esp with some Latio & city owners ard.
I don't own either of them, but giving my personal opinion, i seriously doubt that the Latio can get 14-15km/l. Nissan are petrol drinker (my 1st car is a nissan), thus in FC aspect, i think the City will win hands down.
Have not tried either of the car so no comment on the quality, but i do agree that the hatchback version of Latio tends to look better, and more sporty for younger driver.
The reason why i will choose city is cos of its vtec engine. My 2nd car is a civic, and though nowsday vtec engine dun forcus on power, its very smooth.
Like i mentioned, personal opinion.
I am a Nissan Driver, though not a Latio driver. Honda's done a fantastic job with their VTEC technology, but sadly, their interior plastics/design doesn't correspond to their engine technology.
Ride comfort wise etc, is not up to the price you pay for the Honda marque either. Honda's been consistently priced higher than other Jap saloons, together with Mazda, and i can only say that both marques are overpriced.
Latios have been known to be extremely fuel efficient, with Latio drivers reporting up to 15.6km/L. Take a look at this FC table, extracted from feedback from drivers on mycarforum.
Nissan Latio 4AT 2005 Automatic 14.5 50% 50%
Nissan Latio Premium CVT 2005 Automatic 15 80% 20%
Nissan Latio Sport 2005 Automatic 15 50% 50%
Nissan Latio Sport without Sunroof 2005 Automatic 13 55% 45%
Nissan Latio 1.5L A 2005 Automatic 16.34 80% 20%
Nissan Latio 1.5 CVT Premium Sedan 2005 Automatic 13.5 50% 50%
Nissan Latio 1.5 A 2005 Automatic 13.5 50% 50%
Nissan Latio Sport 1.5 2005 Automatic 11 70% 30%
Nissan Latio Sport - Manual 14 50% 50%
13-15KM/L aint beyond them, in fact, i'd say its normal.
