  Yes, it is. Its just a matter of change of materials (transparent polycarbonate, or whatever)....and I heard that in Japan, there are some enthusiasts who do that.

  these images are not hard to make really, if u know a bit of fotoshop. they're quite fun to make too! heres a few variations I've made for the EVO 8. thanks to bismarck for the 2 original images used to create these

  Anyway, this car belongs to a friend of mine and in real life, its definitely not in stock condition. He spent quite some thousands on modifications.

  At least your edges are faded out evenly and nicely.
  
  My friend's edges are rough cut, as you can see.....
