3 lane road, i was in the middle lane, on my left is a parking slot and on my right there is a very long queue waiting to turn right.
I try to squeeze and my left side mirror hit the other car side mirror. The guy inside the car horn at me. Take photo at my car plate. I get out off my car and see there is a 1 cm scratch.... l<------------>l this long
The guy demand $50. I call my frz he say tell that guy drive to ubi and have a look. That guy dun want, then i say i give him my phone number that guy dun want. He only want $.
Yes its my fault that i hit him. But how does the insurance company look into this matter? Will my insurance go up? From what i see it is not an accident.
*That guy keep stressing i am a P plate and keep stressing he want to keep his car, he want to spray the paint which will cost over $100...

If it wishes to claim your insurance it is up to him.. but 1cm scratch for $100 bucks is nonsense... even re-spray of side mirror dont cost that much.. if the scratch is not too deep can polish it off also... dont worry you wont lose alot of your NCD...

say he illegal parking or he scratched you not you scratched him lor.

once someone claim your car insurance, or u claim your own car insurance, your NCD will be gone... even if the claim is $1 nia
so if can settle outside, settle it... unless the amount is too much for u to pay, then go for insurance claim.
in such case, u can get the person to go get a quote for the spray work...and in the meantime, u go find out how much it will cost... then u pay direct to the spray pple ... -
You'll not be able to claim insurance as your excess is definitely more than 100 bucks i am sure.......
Btw i look at it, its your fault anyway, so you just have to take responsibility. Let this be a small lesson.
But, 100 for that small scratch is a little too much though...... maybe just tell him 50 or forget it. He won't go to police for sure........... as nobody will give a d*mn abt this small scratch. -
thats nothing bloody motorcyclist was squeezing through a large traffic jam he hit my side mirror i honk at him he just went off now i cant close the right side mirror with the auto closing button i have to physically close it myself. even worse near my school got alot of monkeys they climb all over my car using my mirrors as grip to climb ontop now both cant close.... retarded..... oh and i have no clue as to how my sister got a dirving licence in the first place when ever she comes to visit more scratches appear on the car..... one time insurance claim came and said that the car hit a taxi i was scared like hell thought i hit a taxi without noticing but it turned out to be my sister.... she somehow managed to crack the compressor for the aircon and costed 1100 to replace.....

as a 'P' plate with little experience on the road, drive safer and watch out for other road users.
why you want to squeeze with other people?
In the past got one P plate guy reverse in car park and hit my bumper. I took photos and went straight to the workshop and the scratches on my bumper had to be resprayed for $360 bucks. I didnt even want to say a word to that moron. He ended up paying for it. -

come on the other driver is not unreasonable......
can only blame urself seriously....as a p-plater most likely ur judgement is not that good yet so try to avoid things dat need u to make a good estimation
as a word of advice, inform ur insurance u got into this nonsense and dat u haf settled it juz in case the fella try to claim from u -
