This is a case of an accident. The start of the story is totally meaningles and irrelevant in the case of an accident. Like I said, this is not a murder case where the nature of action would be a crucial information since almost all murderers have motives. However, accidents have no motives because it happened unexpectedly.Originally posted by Peppersalt:Who's the person who intro him down to her?
Do u mind telling us?
The person who intro him down, knows the driver well enough, he knew the way he drive even on his own car (Reckless) but still than intro him down and he knew he got a car. Why not tell us the whole story why his down there testing the car, when he himself got a car at home. Is he too free to do other things or he is so sick of his brand new car!!!! Please tell us the story, from the start.......
Maybe i should not have make the point of kaypo this word. I understand what you mean but in the first place why he want to test the car? Did he think about it? He has no need to new car because he has brand new one just few months old not even half a year. If he would have think, this "maybe" won't have happen, But this word "if" means nothing now because is happen.Originally posted by philia:This is a case of an accident. philia,Originally posted by philia:Your bottomline is not only a generalization but also, irrelevant to this thread.
No.1 being, MX-5 is not a fast car. A person who drives a Ferrari within the speed limit will be so much less of a threat than a speeding Corolla. So, you should take back your statement.
No. 2 "punk", meaning worthless or snotty, often applied to a street hustler or a young person who is disrespectful of authority, or disaffected youth; also meaning a beginner or novice.
How on earth you could even begin to label him as a punk, I have no idea. The driver is in his mid twenties with a job mind you. Moreover, he is feeling remose over what he did. A punk would not even bother to feel remorse in the first place.
remember in 1998 when a sports car ploughed into a crowded bus stop at Bendemeer Road, killing three women and injuring six others, some permanently disabled? Can we argue that his car lost control unexpectedly?Originally posted by philia:This is a case of an accident. The start of the story is totally meaningles and irrelevant in the case of an accident. He is not coming in to read anymore comments as being related to the deaseased as well as the driver is terrible enough for him. Pls understand.Originally posted by Peppersalt:SpoonX i may not know you but u seems to know lots of things. Than I believe u should know the starting story too. Accident meaning an unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm; An unforeseen incident.Originally posted by Gazelle:remember in 1998 when a sports car ploughed into a crowded bus stop at Bendemeer Road, killing three women and injuring six others, some permanently disabled? You cant say that this is an accident, it is more likely to be a case of reckless driving that gone terribly wrong.
My guess is that he will lose his license for about 10 years to life
Hi SpoonX, so is the above factual or you just made it up?Originally posted by InLine4:He is not coming in to read anymore comments as being related to the deaseased as well as the driver is terrible enough for him. Pls understand.
Does knowing the entirely truth on who intro them down, who wanted to test drive of so help in anyway? Does pushing the blame here and there help in anyway. From what i understand the friend of the accused was initially interested in the RX8 and SpoonX asked him to buy from agent rather than PI and they went down without even going down looking for any specific SE. So happen the deaseased happen to serve them and so happen he also know her.
Its very interesting to note that you are coming clean with the above after going round the bush earlier.Originally posted by InLine4:Then interest came to the accused after he saw the MX5.
He may be seriously interested in getting a 2nd car. He may have already tied to sell his car? For all i know both that went down came from quite well to do families and one of them (dun know which one thou) can jolly well full cash out the car if wanted to.
In reference to your previous post:Originally posted by Gazelle:philia,
No.1, your understanding of a fast car i presume is purely on straight line top speed and not about acceleration and handling. If that is the case, MX5 is not fast. However if you were to bring this MX5 round the track or corners, I am pretty sure the timing will proof otherwise.
No.2, this Punk is of course remorsed after what has happened, even murderer do feel remorse after killing someone, just like 95% of the changi prisoners. It is very obvious that this young punk has no intention to buy the car and was bascially looking for cheap thrill. And to test a car like MX5 under that kinda of traffic and weather condition? I think he is definitely a beginner driver or novice.
Fast Car Not = Trouble.Originally posted by philia:In reference to your previous post:
Fast Car + Babes + Young Punk = Trouble
You seem to single out fast car being more accident-prone. Anyway, the MX-5 was not speeding and hence it did not matter if it is fast or not. Your sentence appears to mean that a Ferrari is more prone to trouble than a Corolla which is untrue.
reckless driving on public road is an offense and all offender MUST be punish regardless if it is an accident or not. reckless driving which cause the death should be punish by jail and ban from driving for life.Originally posted by philia:Accident meaning an unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm; An unforeseen incident.
The Bendeemer incident is still considered an accident bearing the fact that the driver did not foresee the that his act could result to deaths. Would he able to foresee, he would not have sped in the first place. A murderer who has an intent to kill had clearly foreseen that his/her act will result to death. Hence, it is a deliberate act.
Again, you misunderstood me. My previous post serves only to highlight the point that the Bendeemer incident is an accident.Originally posted by Gazelle:reckless driving on public road is an offense and all offender MUST be punish regardless if it is an accident or not. reckless driving which cause the death should be punish by jail and ban from driving for life.
Do you have reason to believe that the bus stop incident is not cause by reckless driving by some irresponsible driver?
Fyi, the driver of the bendemeer accident was jailed for 2 years and ban from driving for life. To me that is a fair sentence. to the families of the victims, i think it might be too light.
Sports car driven by man in their mid life crisis? What kind of crisis, do you mind explaining? Financial crisis?Originally posted by Gazelle:Fast Car Not = Trouble.
Fast Car + Young Punk = Danger
Fast Car + Babes + Young Punk = Trouble
Most super sports cars are driven by man in their mid life crisis, not young punks. Whenever a young punk drives a ferrari, chances are there will be trouble.
Originally posted by philia:young and sensible people will not get into so much trouble. young punk on the other hand are bad controlling cars and women. cars will be crashed and women will end up pregnant .

I think your initial post is more like a generalization because I am young (late teen) and I drive sports cars therefore I feel that I am being injustly accused by your broad statement.
But anyhow, you have included the word chances. So I presume that you do not actually mean to discriminate against young "punks" driving fast cars like your initial post.

The stereotypical midlife crisis is something that supposedly happens to a married man sometime in his forties (roughly). The allegations of this from women are well known. There the phenomenon is described as the man leaving his wife and family for a woman in her twenties -- or two women in their twenties, according to the deprecating "humor" -- buying a sports car, and generally regressing to adolescence.
I STAND YOUR POINT.............THIS F.....KING IDIOT must be driving like a initialD.....Originally posted by zheshi:anyone hear of the case where by
This idoit guy go test drive the mx5 and end up killing the sale woman beside it..
The car flip over to the other lane.. and end up knocking into 2 car on the oppsite lane..

Good day my all fellow people here in SGFORUM.
Its been a long and tough battle of who is right or wrong.
May i say that some of you here claim its not "HIS " fault. Or whatever.
Some of you still say "i know him.."
Oh come on, For a car to be in that condition after a crash. Theres only one theory......
"..........RECKLESS DRIVING..........."
"..........ego, proud, Act know how... ATTITDUE..."
I drove mean machine too, RX7 , wrx, 180sx/200sx turbo, BIKES ..... and i will only stop When the speed indicate at 200km/h.
Thats why.... if one dare to tell me his is not speeding!!!
I will give him the middlefinger.......and the "...dont act stupid in front of my face..."
Now the gal had die, He is still alive, any thing "he " say will be as it is.?
Well, be it a "FF" or "FR" ........ the basic idea is Brake in an emergency. DID your TP instructor teach you to SWRIVE or take a HARD turn in any directions????
SO my conclusion,
even though i am not at the crash site, i know the driver is covering his STUPID IDIOT act.
Mark my words,
Miss xueli might have heart attack, neck broken..... what ever......passer-by pull her out... what ever....blarblar blar.....
its the PERSON BEHIND THE WHEEL ...that make all this sufffering.
If the papers are right? he is only"24"......... what kind of F....king skills and attitude, the moment he turn the car keys to start the engine???
my guess?

I couldn't stop laughing when I read your post. Sorry no offense.
think it this way.. how many people go to car showrooms in curiosity of finding out how fast some cars are.. whats the engine like.. whether its good to drive and so on? many. but does everyone who test drive a car buy the car? its just a norm that guys have an interest in cars. honestly when u test drive a car... you're testing its engine and everything important. but dont tell me you find no thrill at all in driving a car u like? we're humans after all arent we?Originally posted by Gazelle:philia,

I could not agree more. One needs to look at the situation with a liberal mind.Originally posted by girlnextdoor:think it this way.. how many people go to car showrooms in curiosity of finding out how fast some cars are.. whats the engine like.. whether its good to drive and so on? many. but does everyone who test drive a car buy the car? its just a norm that guys have an interest in cars. honestly when u test drive a car... you're testing its engine and everything important. but dont tell me you find no thrill at all in driving a car u like? we're humans after all arent we?
plus it is the SE or the car company that designates where the car should be test driven. it was the SE who guided the driver all the way until they got quite lost and ended up at a road unsuitable for test driving. it is really a pity that the SE died. but this is nobody's fault. if she had survived and the driver died, the media would point their finger at her, u realise that right? so nobody's at fault in this situation. just victims..
Huh? Are you referring to me? I am extremely sure I didn't post that. I wonder how did you come up with that quote.Originally posted by girlnextdoor:
Originally posted by philia:
