2006 lancer???

seems like toyota and honda etc is all coming their new 2006 model..
wondering is mitsubishi going to lanch 2006 lancer??
anybody got any idea how is it like if they r going make 2006 lancer..
or maybe cos the mitsubishi japan side is too screw up to improve liao.. haha
hear they are having some finacial problem in the main office..
there is also rumours tt they r going to buy hydundai engine etc...
how true is it i don noe man.. -
The current model hasn't even gone thru a facelift... so I doubt a new model will be out anytime soon... Most prob a facelift...

Every year all the dealers always proclaimed New 200X model which in actual fact is nothing more than a new batch manufactured in the new year. Of all major car makers in Japan, only Mistubishi is lossing money. Hence where got money to fund new car development???? Look at Galant, aging and no replacement in sight, look at how long it took for the current Colt to be launched. I read on internet that the next generation Lancer only due 2007, giving toyotas and such a great headstart. -
Sad to say mitsubishi are still in their drawing room for a new design and we wont kno when will it be out yet. for the past 1 1/2 yrs they spent too much time doing new models and concept cars like concept X and D5 and even miev evo. But than, even got facelift will look similar to other models. For e.g look at the new skyline design, it looks like a mixture of fairlady with gtr back light. Looks kinda wierd.
But than again, the new concept X looks quite interesting. Wonder if they will make the new lancer look like that or not. LOLz.
They can even come out with cars like evolution wagon. Wah kaoz ... MPV engine which sounds like a chiong car.. KnS...
Its time for them to come out with some logical models or designs. -
The yaris is abit chunkier than before.

Do anyone notice that the price for lancer is much cheaper in comparison with the other model? Well, this might be in line with clearing up the old stock and lauching a new version.
