  Turbo ah ? Aiyah, in SG sound fast look fast can liao...even the taxi overtake u u got the Turbo sound people still think u fast one....
  
  not forgetting the Turbo Sticker or DOHC one..or MooGern one....

  turbocharging a type S is not entirely without its merits. to begin with, the K20A3 engine has lower compression, less aggressive cam profiles and lower powerband. characteristics much akin to the turboed engines of late.
  
  problem is the total cost of ownership and legal risks involved. while honda engines have often been described as "bullet proof" in the automotive industry, turbocharging itself adds a whole load of stress on the engine internals. not only are u changing the entire volumetric efficiency of an engine dat was built for NA applications, u also incur all sorts of hidden costs in terms of maintenance (worn out clutch, gearings driveshafts) and reliability (engine blowing after sustained boost).
  
  trust me. it took almost half a decade after top fuel successfully created a 550 ps VTEC + turbo B series engine before local boys were able to run similar engines without blowing an engine along the way.
  
  can u live with the risks of getting caught ($500 fine at least) or blowing an engine?

  They may be rich... but they probably know nuts about cars... They probably just think any car will look 'cooler' with a turbo... don't even consider the extra stress it puts on the car bosy and engine...
  
  I'd rather you use the money for a nice bodykit and rims... at least then, people can SEE that your car is cool... unless you want to go around with no bonnet, or a transparent one... turbo doesn't really make your car LOOK cool...
