Try Siron. Lancer also good. Of course the above suggestion of Kelisa and Picanto will really save you some money. Aveo, Optra are also decent model.Originally posted by CrazeeMatt:Hi guys! I'm now considering of getting an OPC car since I hardly use it during weekdays. The problem is that I don't know which car to choose from? My Budget is less than 40k and so I have Vios, Sunny, Matrix in mind.. Any Ideas or comments?
New Rio, I like the sedan one better. Looks nice with their sport upgrade.Originally posted by so_nice:i missed out on kia..can look at the new kia rio too..the HB looks decent

All off the OPC's road tax is damn cheap leh.Originally posted by LCL:The Kia Picanto OPC is disgutingly CHEAP. A friend who owns one told me road tax is only 50 bucks a year? Damn it!
Vios la. Vios is 1, 2, 4 and 5. Vios is not very spacious, but it it reasonable enough, more than what you can get for a 1.5. Good value, definately, pls. Nice appearance, this one is darned subjective, but just walk to any main road and stop one of the thousands of Vios-es going by and ask their driver if they think Vios is nice. As for FC, Vios winds hands down.Originally posted by CrazeeMatt:Hmm.. I'm looking for a car with some of the following feat. :
Priority (1-5)
1) Spacious
2) Good Value
3) Power
4) Nice Appearance
5) Fuel Consumption
Ya lorh.. I'm not very concern about FC as i hardly drive it..Originally posted by alf6901:Japan car usually has lighter body, this give better FC and lesser safety as compare to Korea made.
IMHO, since you are getting OPC, go for the one you like and leave the FC as the last condition.
forget about FC, but if you intend to drive up north, then stability comes in ! I think sunny wins in this department, and who cares about FC when you are up northOriginally posted by CrazeeMatt:Ya lorh.. I'm not very concern about FC as i hardly drive it..

Agreed that Getz 1.6M is definitely a good buy. But the 3dr factor is a great minus, so somehow it isn't popular. And of course now everyone going to auto too.Originally posted by alf6901:have u ever consider getting a getz?
i've tested getz 1.6M and vios 1.5M and i got myself a getz 1.6M
reasons,
1) more powerful
2) you be surprise that getz is quite spacious....except the boot lah cos it is a hatch back.
3) cheaper. forget about the resale value since the new car so cheap.
4) imho getz is much "chio" and fun to drive with.
as for fc, not really that bad. i get about 13km/l after 1k servicing.
think will getting better after chancing to sythetic oil.
btw i got a heavy right foot!![]()
Getz has very limited legroom for the second row passengers and when my son sits at the back, he complaint that its quite stiff for a long ride.. no affence to any getz owner yar..Originally posted by alf6901:have u ever consider getting a getz?
