i was feeling bored last night and managed to take my dad's car around the estate once without getting the car injured.
although i did go very slowly (max speed i went was 20km/h). 1st thing i noticed was that the brake felt very weird. it was like only on and off, couldnt really control the amount of deceleration i wanted.
and also the car was much more powerful than i thought it would be.
although the whole trip lasted 15 minutes, it felt like an hour. and the adrenaline rush i got was unbeliveable. -

there's no such thing as only on and off since brakes work on hydraullics
its more likely that you are not used to the sensitivity of the pedals -

Try here http://www.kartworld.com.sg/about/ and go go-karting first... Senna, Schmacher, etc all started out racing in Go Karting...very competitive sports yet gives you the technique and habits that you need about driving in the future....
Or go join Karting Club of Singapore, you can search it from either Yellowpages or Google search...

Damn disappointed in you lah... Your 'teacher' not around, you go and do this type of thing... There's always a chance that you might lose control of the car... It's definitely more powerful than a normal learner's car... plus you don't even know how to estimate the distance between the front end of the car and yourself...
If anything happens and you get caught... all I can say is... You deserved it... -

what's your dad's car?
i'm personally not against someone without licence trying it out, since you said it's only 20km/h. but do it at a place without other people other cars. in a car park, slow as you may, once you get your turning point wrong getting out of the lot, all the best to the car beside you -

my first advise is to get a license. If not possible and you NEED to drive, please drive at 50km/h. No use telling TP you are driving at only 20km/h when you dun have a license. Better, drive normal and dun create suspicions to let TP check you out...

Goodness, he was just learning how to drive at 20kph and I could already see the number of people kaupekaubu, you know calling the TP and all. What the hell is the big deal in driving your dad's car at low speed in a confined area.
Wait till you get to Indonesia where licenses are bought and 1 out of 5 drivers on the road are literally illegal.

the movies & cartoons are causing alot of damage to our teens these days. philia, driving without a licence means WITHOUT a licence. it doesn't matter if u're travelling at 20km/hr or 200km/hr. i bet if supra continues to do this, one fine day he wont be contented wif just driving around the estate & find his way onto the public roads. not trying to suan him but its for his own gd. wat if one day he really gets into an accident and cause serious hurt to himself and others? i noe there are lots of rich kids like SEI boasting about driving & drifiting in some posh sports rides when he isn't even old enough to sit for BTT..supra, for ur own gd, pls dun be influenced by them. but the choice is urs..just dun cry when u get into trouble.
