Guys..i need advice...between Honda City..Vtec or i-DSI

  owners of these 2 models..do u mind sharing info regarding performance, fuel economy..maintanance fees...joys n woes??

  iDSI (with the CVT transmission) actually has a surprising amount of low-end torque - some say better than VTEC - as it is designed for city driving. is very efficient on fuel - in fact should be better than Vios although i think is really neck-and-neck depending how u drive the car.
  
  VTEC a bit slower off the mark but make up for it at higher revs. certainly higher performance than Vios . slightly less FC than iDSI version but still quite good.

  Go for I-dsi. You would be driving/racing at high speed all the time, i-dsi 1.5cc normal engine should already be good enough. Now with the bombings, typhoon, you never know when the next time the fuel cost goes up again, so better plan with FC in mind.

  actually vtec aren't really that fc unfriendly..depends on ur driving style. the vtec model comes wif the ultra seat feature which the idsl is lacking. and if storage space is ur concern, do go for the vtec.

  And I thought only the engine is different. Anyway, if you intend to drive lightly, then you wouldn't need the V-tec too.

  why not just get a i-dsi ..since u are not into racing and stuf..a car wif a noraml engine will do..
