Can a Toyota Vios 1.5 Auto hit 600km with full tank?

my colleague has been boasting that his Vios can hit 600km with a full tank...although its capacity is only ard 45litres..?
a little hard to believe leh..
Vios owners what do u say? -
Bro, tats only about 13.33km/litre. I'm achieving approx. the same wif my altis.

thats even more incredible..my sis's bf altis can max out at 500km..
and he does alot of highway driving which i presume is more fuel effiecient than urban driving -

If fuel tank is 45l, and he can really use up the 45l to achieve the 600km/l...
REALLY gotta kao tow to him man...
Usually lights will come on by 40l i guess...
and he actually managed to drag until pump the full 45l??? -
of cus the 600km cant be from a 'full' thank..juz an average figures i suppose..

yes, it's possible for a vios (auto) to hit 600km with full tank.
i was driving my brother's vios (manual though) from sg to melaka (during deeparaya festive) and back without needing to stop to top up fuel. before i started off from sg (woodlands), the fuel guage was showing 3/4 tank and trip A showed about 210km travelled (he always reset trip A to zero after filling full tank)... so i didn't bother to top up and went straight to melaka.
the distance from JB custom to melaka (alor gajah to be exact) is around 220km... on my way back, the last fuel indicator 'bar' starts to blink (meaning it's time to top up) when i reached the last toll (skudai toll) of the north south highway... and i saw trip A showed around 650km... so, with the last bar left, i could still push till 700km but what for, right?
so, to conclude, a vios manual/auto can clock up to 600km or more per 45 litre of fuel (based on an average footer driving habit)... so there! -

what would be the fuel consupmtion of the Vios if it travel an average speed of 150 from singapore to KL?

i hit b4 15km per litre
i think generally vios and the city has the best FC

600km should not be a problem. The most I travelled on my auto car is 573km and then top up 36L to full tank.
On average, I usually cover 530 to 550km then go for top up 36 to 39litre. (Driving within Singapore only) -

okok..thanks for all the insights..honda's i-DSL engine is also damm economical i think..the chief engineer from japan claims the city can hit 20km/l and the jazz 23km/l..they must be realli damm light on the throttle i tink~
my Focus can only hit max 450km with a full tank~and the maintanance is astronomical..thats the price to pay for the fantastic driving pleasure i guess..
