Bloody motorcyclist who never stay in the turning pocket.

I was approaching the junction. Due to heavy traffic, i wasnt able to change lane and ended up in a turning right and going straight lane at a major road junction. By rite when the light turns green and when all of the front vehicles had turned rite... i can still go straight IF the vehicle in the opposite direction was in the turning pocket. But there is this damn motorcyclist... if i am not wrong ... a courier one... i think transnational ... who never stay in the turning pocket. Kaoz he was far out of the pocket and i was unable to go straight ... no chance to slip thru him cos there are still many cars going thru on the left lane. Before i know it... the light turn red..! Gosh 3/4 of my car was protruding outside in the yellow box.... desperate sia... rite side turning green liao ... oncoming vehicles start to move... wanted to dash across the junction since i was already out in the yellow box.... but like too risky... lucky i was calm enuff to quickly make a decision to make a illegal rite angle turn for a detour...

motorcyclist are nothing but nonsence and hazards to the road ... they do wad the hell they want and they dun give a damn abt whether other ppl's life at all... the same thing happen to me.. so i understand dude...

Well haiz but this one real piss me off for putting me into such dangerous and critical situation and if i never react fast enuff i dun know what will happen. I was so angry i even curse and swear he cannot make it home tonite.

do u guys realise that transnational courier all very dangerous one.they drive like the road belongs to them like that.once i saw one transnational courier died on PIE just before the turn to tampines.its was so scary the guy rolled on the road like a rock like that

everytime i see accidents involving motorcycles ... i always see nothing but a wreck piece of junk metal there .. so my dear motorcyclist.. when u want to do STUNTS or drive like so young and dangerous(this applies to ah peks too) .. think again... if u want to fly 200m high off the road and die in an instant.. by all means... go ahead

Put yourself into his shoe. There are so many drivers out there who wanted to turn right but din signal. Last time, maybe the MC would have stayed in the pocket and waiting for the non-signalling car to go straight, but instead it turns right. So experience make the MC thought you are going to turn right also. Infact, how many drivers would have gotten themselves into that 2-options lane?
I do admit the MC had erred in his judgement. But you can show him your intention by highbeaming... -

Im in this kind of position always but i got no problem changing lanes way before the junction. What i do is signal left to let other drivers know i want go straight. Then slowly cut into the lane. From my experiance, once a quater of your front is in the lane, drivers behind will let you pass. oh by the way, im driving a monster 10ton lorry at times. also got no problem in changing lanes.

there was once i going to school, then red light and on my left the car beside me was quite a distance from the car infront of him. i waited for like 2 sec, he didnt move so i signal wanting to cut into his lane infront of him and as i move out a bit liao, he immediately drive forward stopping me from cutting him and horn at me.

so its common sense that vehicles will go straight. whats there to signal about?
its the motorist that should keep to his turn right box.
not only motorist. drivers also. everytime see them protruding out of the turn right box very du lan one. -
i'm a driver n also a pillion of a motorbike..
it's like most of the time, drivers on the lane wif right arrow n straight arrow will normally turn right.. n those who wanna go straight will sometimes signal left unless there's no car in front..
some drivers who don signal or signal suddenly when they wanna turn or change lane can cause harm to others too, especially motorbikes(some drivers nv even check blind spot too as if the ppl on the motorbike is not human.)
n u don have to always drive on the outer right lane one right? if u noe ur route well, u wont come across tis type of thing one.. -
if u noe u cant go straight already, then jus make a right turn quick or a u-turn instead of stopping there waiting for the red light then start tinking of wat to do..
for wat keep blaming the courier? u already said it's the courier liao when u saw them next time jus move away from them lor..
if not then jus knock them down or teach them a lesson if they ride recklessly.. -

still i think all motorist should keep their vehicles within the turning pockets.... and dun cause any obstruction for the oncoming vehicles which are travelling straight... for my case... the bike was ENTIRELY out of the pocket.... so it was like rite in front of my car? BUt i still think i should have stop my car rite in front of him and high beam to tell him WTF his he doing ... lolx....but den if i do so... he die die dun give way... my car rite in the middle of the junction.. gosh hahaha...sometimes well sad to sad i encounter quite a lot of motorcyclist who forgotten their highway code? lolx.
I did react fast enuff to make a left right angle turn lah cos rite oncoming traffic moving liao... actually also dun know if i u turn can clear or not cos only 2 lane.

okie whenever i see someone not inside their turning pockets... i high beam ... haha... make myself shiok a bit....
another thing is i cannot tolerate drivers who cannot keep in lane! Gosh ... if u cant keep in lane... why drive such big MPVs and neogiating the bend at such speeds lolx.
Maybe the courier is in hospital now? cos a lorry just slam onto him cos he not inside another turning pocket just now ? hahaha gosh i am soooo mean. -
actually u should horn n high beam him n show the ' shoo' hand signal to him to ask him to back off to the turning pocket..
if not then move forward more n stop directly in front nearer to him n horn n high beam etc to him.
i hate those transnational riders.. they're really damn reckless.. even if i'm on the motorbike, i also very scare of them.. -

Take for eg. Last saturday around mid noon time, I was driving along marina sq outside going towards esplanade direction, i was on the right lane around 50-60. All of a sudden, a citycab speed out of the hotel lobby to enter the main road, I saw him speeding out but thinking he might slow down at the exit to turn out, I carry on with my speed of around 50+. As there are bushes and plants beside the road on the right side I did not see him trying to speed out till the last min when i get a clear view, he saw me he stopped halfhead out of the main road, I pull 1/2 hand brake + foot brake but realise it would still hit on the corner front right, I release my hand brake and swayed to the left. The floor was wet due to the earlier rain, In the end my car skid abit and stopped 45 degrees to the left taking 2 lane. lucky for me the road was quite clear with very very little traffic. I stepped out of my car and curse at the driver he only juzz keep repeatedly say sorry. Lucky no accident happen.
It doesn't matter whether motor or car, in the end this type of dangerous things still happen irregardless of which type of vehicles. The only way to really reduce and prevent this type of situation, is to have all drivers to do their part. but sad to say, it wont happen. There are bound to be some drivers who think they are the only one paying road tax and owns the road.
Just less then 2 hrs ago an accident happen at Tampines Ave 10 between a taxi and car, from the damage and angle I presume the taxi speeding to do right turn to the HDB directions while the car was going straight towards kaki bukit. Still can see the altis whole bumper on the road and 1/2 the car head goes in while the texi ended in front of the traffic light post at the slip road. It is a T junction and both party are driving along the main road. Poor altis fellow... plate was SFxxxxx... quite brand new... -
Today i was in the right and straight turn pocket... my intention is to go straight... than all of a sudden this bloody motorcyclist stop beside my left... i did not notice it.. and when the light is green i go straight and he want to turn right...
Than in the end.. i got no choice but to turn right..and make a u-turn upfront..
bloody hell dun even know the basic rule...if singapore law is not so strict..guess i just hack care him..let him bang me side..and go under my wheel -
perhaps i think the going straight and turning rite lane should be removed... or they have to do soemthing with the traffic light coordination?

no matter how careful my bf ride his bike, jus b'coz of some reckless drivers, we can even get into accident..
3 wks ago i was driving the car n my bf was riding his bike.. i had to turn right back to my home while he was going straight.. while i was waiting for the front car to turn, suddenly a taxi jus cut in front of my bf jus to make his way to make a right turn b4 me, my bf was unable to apply brake in time so he knocked into the taxi and fly off from his bike..
i was damn stunned n immediately came out of the car to see whether my bf is moving anot..
lucky my bf still can move, if not i sure hit the fellow up n curse him to death man, or i'll go mad knocking him down man... keke -

some more sometimes in the turning pocket it's damn hard to look out for oncoming traffic, which make it more dangerous for us to move out abit lor..
