Thank Goodness there are no gutters along Mt. Faber Hill's road! Imagine a driver crashing at 100+ km/h into the HIll's wall cuz he's trying to perform Takumi's gutter run!!Originally posted by KhidMasAE86:cartoon is cartoon...still unrealistic. Then again..there is such things as drifting on the mountain pass...ive seen it in discovery channel "speed week" abt ladies drifting illegally on mountain pass in japan. But these ppl go through weeks and months of training on tracks before they even got the guts to do it on normal roads...facing oncoming vehicle and pedestrians. Singapore..no chance..and dont even think of tryin it. 1- Tire matters...(there got sponsor) 2- too many tp 3- So many ppl in Singapore like to complain (normal singaporean behaviour) 4- Only kids will think initial D drift can do in real life...well..some of the drift is relevant...other is for only viewing pleasure...meaning...fake. so...must think properly on this side... hahaha
this reminds me of a kid playing initial D games on the arcade shouting loud to his fren "aiyah!! gimme real car also i not scared...i play this game well..i should be able to do the same.." childish thoughts right?? hahaha...i just stand there and laugh..cause he didnt think of factors like tires, dangers...the control of game simulation is freaking different no matter how realistic they make it. SIMULATION and REAL driving is not the same....hope u get wat i mean...rational thinking..

that piece of land near the now closed fantasy island in sentosa?Originally posted by ueo:drifting is a motorsport thats picking up in singapore,
originally started in Japan,
every year in Japan, theres is a Drift competition called D1 Grand Prix ( www.d1gp.com ),
In US, they began their own drift compy every year also,
Now JB/KL also have drift compy.. www.drift.com.my
03 and 04/12/05 malaysia conducting drift compy on their new drift track at port dickson.... a lot of singaporeans drifters went over.
Too bad singapore got no large empty space to practice.
drifting = losing traction + controlling the slide
