Felt so injustice...
Was in AMK Ave 5 preparing for a right turn towards AMK Ave 8.. when suddenly this stupid hyundai accent infront of me came into a reverse gear and started to move back.
I blasted my horn and the fellow seems totally unheard.. and what happen..
"bang" . I came down and he came down and he apologise. No damage to both car (sight survelliance).. He gave me his number ...
Now also cannot do anything.. don't know my car will suffer any internal damage.. that guy claimed it should be ok becos it is protected by the bumper, and my number plate did not crack..
So angry... second time liao.. last time was a lorry. I was able to reverse on time last time but not this one. Am very fedup what can we do to suffer all these since we are at behind and we are not the ones to hit them...so blurr either they did not engage brake with the slope inclination or simply them use reverse gear as gear 1.

haha..i bet tat fellow must haf been driving an auto car..i dun see the reason of shifting the gear to "P" or "N" when u're waiting for just barely a min or at traffic junctions..without shifting, it will reduce the chance of tat driver making a mistake.
at least u're alrite(and ur car!)...but be careful when u reverse the next time..better check behind got traffic or not..else u reverse kanna the rear vehicle and the gong kia infront continue to reverse..well...really cant imagine the end result! -

Demand $1k from him first. Strip your stock bumper, install fierce after market bumper with front skirt. Use the rest of the $$, install matching rear skirts and side skirts. Voila... you have a new car!

I think i got the greater injustice.
Bus reveresed onto me, my bonnet and bumper and headlights needs to be replaced.
I claimed from my insurance first because i don't want to wait for his insruance to approve the claim.
Turn out, he did not report to his insurance company. Then after 6 months, his company wrote me a letter because he did not report the accident. The company don't want anything to do with it and terminated his policy.
So I had to pay my excess and never got to claim it back.
Lucky my insurance good enough to apportion fault and decided that my 50% NCD will be unaffected....... phew!! -

For me i will still send my car to my usual workshop, they will send it for inspection , after any thing also bill that idiot , that will include car rental !!!
The fact is outside look ok, but usual it it is the inside that is damage. I would -

I driving on AYE towards town last saturday morning...about 8.30am...before Jurong Town Hall road exit....got this metal bar(construction type) with one of its edges pointing UPwards on the road right after a bend...dunno dropped by which lorry...the car in front of me kenna(I saw sparks from under his car)...mine kenna...a few more behind kenna...stop by the side of the road to check....front bumper got 1 hole....have to go in for servicing/repair....dunno who to claim from...LL lor...so ur case not that bad lar.

Well.. Actually I did tot of claim some kopi money from him at that instance... but somehow did not when I saw his daughter ard the age of 12 and his wife infront..
Somehow, when he got down he also apologise. I am also thinking what if he claims I was the one who knock him from behind if he goes against his conscience. So lan lan lo..
If next time got chance to see him on the road I will go infront of him and reverse on him.

For own damage claim maybe, but not for third party claim. Even only S$180 spray job can be claimed and that normally comes with lost of use. one jerk happened that he jammed stopped in front of me and i touched his bumper, he there was nothing happened and not even a scratch. and he flipped his boot, covers, bent under and check and do all those funny things. i just sit beside him and watched he acted foolishly. he dun even know what could affect what severity of damage and what... -
