I read that these fast cars use paddleshift as opposed to manual to reduce the reaction time.Originally posted by HENG@:e-gear. paddleshift.
You go arcade ask those who play initial d why they don't take auto car.Originally posted by Icemoon:I read that these fast cars use paddleshift as opposed to manual to reduce the reaction time.
But why not auto gearbox then?
I took a peek inside the car .. and saw something like 3 buttons at the place where there should be a gearbox![]()

slap me. i have no idea how murtabak shifters work manOriginally posted by wbucket:Peddle shifters, sound interesting. Like motorcycle?
because while it is convenient for driving esp in urban conditions, auto boxes can be very irritating when u want to drive at a more frantic pace. Auto boxes are fully dependent on the car's computer to tell it when to change, while paddle shifts lets u decide when to shift, without the hassle of needing to operate the clutch.Originally posted by Icemoon:I read that these fast cars use paddleshift as opposed to manual to reduce the reaction time.
