  Erm...I'm pretty sure that there's much more than just one Lambo in Italy Unless you're referring to their pursuit vehicles. Lambo gave the Polizia a Gallardo as a present.
  
  To get into the higher ranks of TP, if I'm not mistaken, you'd need to be a regular in the force. They will post you into different departments so it'll depend on your luck and perhaps whatever selection criteria they have.

  You can sign on as a Volunteer Special Constable (VSC)... which is actually a part time policeman. You can then request to be posted to TP. If you get posted there, you will function just like any other traffic policeman.
  
  The pay is $2.80 per hour, and you are required to work a minimum of 16 hours each month. Of course before you can even qualify as a VSC, you have to undergo a 9 month training course, conducted twice a week, in the evenings.
  
  As a VSC, i don't think you'll be allowed to drive the WRX though.
