i didn't notice that!!! its not a very Ferrari rear is it?Originally posted by Kuali Baba:Let me guess. Ken Okuyama designed this (he's one of Pininfarina's men)?
That rear window looks very fussy...and I don't like have 2 less rear lights.
i tink they mean is... the most powerfull in the 550's family.... meaning the v12 of the 550's version. hmmm well... ferrari knows better.. actually heng.. u are one of the luckiest guy..! had to drive one of the ferrari made cars! absolutely astonishing! congrats... i got to drive too but in need for speed lol!.. oh well....Originally posted by HENG@:at least this looks better than the 612. and how come its the most powerful production ferrari v12 of all time? enzon dun count meh? enzo has a V12 with 660bhp
anyways im curious as to how such a significant new car slipped beneath the "new car" radar of all the reputable car mags. so when it debuts at the detroit show, will it be a concept car or the finished product u can buy?
Finally i looked around for it, and i found out it should be called the 600 Imola instead of the 599 GTB. how come different name from different sources?
most powerful in the big coupe GT line up ah? maybe la.Originally posted by FERRARIman:i tink they mean is... the most powerfull in the 550's family.... meaning the v12 of the 550's version. hmmm well... ferrari knows better.. actually heng.. u are one of the luckiest guy..! had to drive one of the ferrari made cars! absolutely astonishing! congrats... i got to drive too but in need for speed lol!.. oh well....

its not by me.. i never speculate.. its by the official ferrari.com itself..Originally posted by HENG@:1stly im not so sure the final car will look like that. Nevermind Detroit. This year's Geneva in March should be the more important show and the Ferrari shown there, the one closer to what the final product should be.
I have pictures which suggest it is NOT going to look like that. It should look more similiar to the 612 in fact. Also, the name ought to be the F600 Imola, not the 599 GTB. Finally, its V12 engine is coming from the 612, and will be expanded from the scalg's 5748cc to 6.0l, giving it 575 bhp, not the 620 mentioned by the thread starter.

did u see what Ferrari were calling it at the Detroit show? they called it the 600 Imola.Originally posted by FERRARIman:its not by me.. i never speculate.. its by the official ferrari.com itself..

One thing i hate bout ferrari.. they are playing games.. but that is a prototype.. they are clever at certain things... play ard wit designs camoflauge the design to make peeps confuse... and.... haha.. well is a bet to play.. lol! its fun tho.. u bet the two lights... and.. i bet the one light... BUT i have this intresting pictures.. this is the prototype for the enzo... before the enzo is launch... take a look... And ur picture... THAT IS ABSOLUTELY THE 612 SCAGLIETTI.. they actually cover up the sides of the bodywork... and they actually cover the underneath venturi to appear 'different'..... and they are using the 612 as a project to the 599... well F600 is 'mayb' their thoughts... but well.. WE ARE PROFESSIONAL aren't we?.. lol.. yes we are! ok lets see wat the outcome in geneva....Originally posted by HENG@:actual Ferrari 600 Imola caught testing. note 4 tail lights, not 2.

funny. u type in 600 Imola, thats the pic u get all over the internet. Unless u're telling me everyone is utterly stupidOriginally posted by FERRARIman:One thing i hate bout ferrari.. they are playing games.. but that is a prototype.. they are clever at certain things... play ard wit designs camoflauge the design to make peeps confuse... and.... haha.. well is a bet to play.. lol! its fun tho.. u bet the two lights... and.. i bet the one light... *i circled it there is where u've to concentrate their bodyworks....*
that prototype shows they put extra bodyworks design and 1 light (below)... and double lights is born when its launch.. hahah..
So, the bottomline is... prototypes cars cannot be use as an example of the outcome... ok... sitback relax... wait and see till 28th of feb in geneva motorshow...
