which applies to the taxi-drivers.Originally posted by nightzip:u turn sign means can u-turn at coming junction. By right CANNOT u-turn at every junction, only can do it when you see the sign.
The no u-turn sign is a super notice to those who illegally do the u-turn at junctions, i think.![]()
in Singapore, u can U-Turn only if there is a U-turn signOriginally posted by sunboy77:Was having a debate with a friend:
My theory is that a driver can u-turn as long as ther is no"No U-turn" sign.
But my friend argued that a driver can u-turn only when there's a u-turn sign.
So I asked: then what is the "No U-turn" sign good for?
Then my friend argued: what then is the "U-turn" sign good for?
Haha so who is right?![]()
Ya this is exactly what I wanted to know!Originally posted by HENG@:in Singapore, u can U-Turn only if there is a U-turn sign
other countries, the rule is that U-turn is allowed unless there is a 'no U-turn' sign
just heed it. u wudnt want to hit a car that is under the 'left-turn-on-red' scheme.Originally posted by sunboy77:Ya this is exactly what I wanted to know!
So confirm ah? In Singapore, by right and by law, U-turn allowed only when there's an U-turn sign?

you could turn into tembeling road (shell station there) or katong shopping centre carpark and drive along those landed property and you'll end up on haig road again to choose left or right turn. careful not to just turn into any lane cuz some might not have through roads.Originally posted by johncooper:Like dat die leow ... go along east coast road and you want to make a proper u turn you will need to drive all the way to fort road to make a blardy u turn!?![]()
When u see "No U-Turn" sign, it means that the authority had reviewed the traffic of this particular road and decide to disallow U-turn (initially U-turn is allow). The no "U-turn" sign is to inform motorist that this jn does not allow U-turn anymore.Originally posted by sunboy77:Was having a debate with a friend:
