By the way, vios is 1.5l and lancer is 1.6l. How to compare them if there're not even in the same specifications platform.Originally posted by skthk:Any comments
monthly instalments of $400 can get a "normal" car or OPC only ?
I thought I saw the face-lifted vios running about already? I think!Originally posted by Passionate-Shalom:Actually there is something i am wondering, if they will sell the 2006 version of vios and lancer? or are they already selling? 0,0
for me, it would be both!Originally posted by wbucket:Anyway, back to topic. Vios vs Lancer. I will answer it with a question, which is more important, Fuel consumption or spacious-ness.

It just like comparing apple to orange...
Buying a car is a matter of satisfying your needs and budget.
If you travel alot, then go for vios. If you want space, then take lancer. If you think Jap made is superior than Thai made, choose lancer. If you really really like "Toyota" brand and die die must have it, then buy vios.
By the way, look wise is very personal. So can't comment much on that.
So end of the day, it's all up to you to decide.
I would suggest you to buy a VAN. Then you can have both good FC and big space. So far don't think any car can offer both.Originally posted by sinicker:for me, it would be both!
altis FC is not tt bad, if u can really control ur right feet...and FC depends highly on highway/city ratio. for me, my ride is travelling 70% city 30% highway, can achieve 11km/lOriginally posted by mr sunray:I would suggest you to buy a VAN. Go test-drive both of them and come back here if you are still pluzzled. Usually the option is quite clear since both cars are quite different.Originally posted by skthk:But motor mag also compare Vios/ Rio/Verna/City mah when Verna & City are 1.6 ?
Is Vios really small ? I have not try a Lancer b4.
How about price wise ?

Every car can achieve its own optimum FC figuare if you are light-footed and travel mostly on highways. But is Altis's best as good as Jazz's best?Originally posted by kentheman:altis FC is not tt bad, if u can really control ur right feet...and FC depends highly on highway/city ratio. for me, my ride is travelling 70% city 30% highway, can achieve 11km/l
With the current COE drop and interest rate hike, not much diff to notice..Originally posted by skthk:Any comments

Looks good. Usually the use of body kit and spoiler only kicks in when the car is moving at near 200km/h or more. Else effect is almost nil.Originally posted by skthk:Vios new version have no body kit.
Actually what purpose for body kit ?
not forgetting 1.5L Fit vtecOriginally posted by quek:btw city and verna is both 1.5l

0.1L difference may vary from individuals. To me it's not so much a different. But if you consider FC, space, comfort and cost of 1.5L and 1.6L car, they may be different.Originally posted by skthk:The 0.1 is big difference ?
Price wise about the same ?

Price wise is like shares, up and down. So have to check their website for the latest pricing. Think right now they're about the same price.
Still best to go to the showroom. It doesn't take more than a car to look through all those cars or even test-drive them. Don't waste too much time on internet research.Originally posted by skthk:How about now Getz that comes with 1.1 , 1.4 & 1.6 ?
Their body, weight, interior are the same ? SAme size inside & out ?
