I notice that many of the petrol station uncles will always pump, squeeze a bit, pump, squeeze a bit, until the price rounds up to the nearest dollar. Is this necessary? Given that most people pay by credit card, and also that the nearest dollar, after discount, will not be rounded anymore. So, why bother? Are they asked by the management to do so?
maybe mgmt.
but sometimes its just habit from last time.
I also got the same habit..
when the pump auto stops.. i usually could add about $2-3 more and i round off.
There was one time i was ambitious and aimed for $3 more. haha.. the petrol squirt onto my clothes!!!
Kena scolding somemore. Anyway this was in the US where they are very particular about you spilling petrol onto the ground.
Say i am polluting the environment!!!
