Although not of the same specif...
considering the few options:-
Mit Lancer (A)
Chevrolet Aveo (A)
or Toyota Vios (A) Better TC but abit clamp...
Anyone owning a Aveo, can share on vehicle performance and maintenance, etc...
Also thinking should I buy now or wait till the new budget release... COE reduce further or even scrap off?

Personally I think COE may go down to 5K and that's about the lowest it will reach. How long to see that is hard to say. So if you are not in hurry, can wait and see. Otherwise, you also won't lose much since 5K and 8K not very big difference wrt overall expense of a car... provided the 5K COE can really be reached.

Shouldn't be thinking about Aveo if you are talking about performance. And it is also understandable that maintenance is going to be more ex than Lancer and Vios since the 2 latter are more popular brands and will carry more aftermarket spare parts.Originally posted by surpize:Hi all,

my friend owns an aveo (auto). less than 1 year complaining about the car's power ... her husband bought the car w/o test driving it.

After seriously consider & test drive, has placed a booking for Mit Lancer (A)
Not a very great choices but thk not bad for a first car... Now waiting for the SE to bid for COE & hopefully can get in Mar/Apr... -
Err... just wonder anyone who book a Mit Lancer ard 11 Feb... Any idea when the delivery, SE told mi 18 Mar shipment but might be delay... he also nvr put in bid for me on 22 Feb...
thkin further, is it actualli necessary to do tur-coat for the anti-rust thingy
wat abt "sealant" thingy to protect the paintwork...

Get the soundproofing, the anti rust useless one. -

Sealant ......... good to have, but expensive to start and maintain. nice if you maintain, but once you stop , it'll be back to square
