Cheap BUT Good Sports Car.. Which One??

i want to know, so that i can start saving my money to buy.. does anybody know which car.. can be any sports car.. old one also can.. i dont mind jay chou's initial d car.. do they sell it??

A couple of choices,
1. Nissan 200SX or also known as the nissan sylvia S15version is best... even the older s14 is not bad.
2. Honda integra typeR, very underrated
3. Mazda RX7 around 2000 model should do well
4. BMW E30 M3
5. Mitsubishi Lancer GSR
6. Toyota ceilica GT4
7. Mazda MX5 -
haha somehow the words 'cheap' and 'good' dont seem to click well together. by sports car do you mean performance cars, or 'sports' coupes?

well a good sports car to start off...mayb u should try a second hand RX-7...it's rotary engine means u can save a lot more on fuel and yet get some serious power from such a small engine...

but the catch is that you must rev the engine rpm high high everytime.

yea and the RX7 has the "longest" lasting engine ever built...u'll never need 2 overhaul it....

Er..... first hopefully the only owner of the year 2000+ fd would want to sell his car. If i am not mistaken, all other fd's are COE re-newed i.e, way earlier than year 2000 model. And there are not much fd here to begin with.
Hmm....i think the OMV for the fd is s$60,000 plus, if you can find one with few years COE left and below $100,000, i think its a good buy. A COE re-newed FD for another 8 years is already going for ard $75k.
Can try importing it from overseas, but the last production was in 2002, so better bring it in fast cos the car only has got to be till 3 years old to bring in. Even then, will be more than $100k. This are all my assumptions, hopefully you can get a good bargin!
Oh yeah, watch out for that fuel and reliability issues that everyone is saying too! -
by the way, S$100,000 and below can get you many good cars, even sports that are to many not cheap.
