Some info to clear up the misconceptions in this thread
SEP1 : belongs to president, "singapore elected president"
SP1 : speaker of parliment
SPF1 : comissioner of police
SJ1 : chief justice
the number plates: S1, S2, S3 up to S10 all belongs to the government. there are no end alphabets. they are on cars used to ferry visiting foreign ministers etc.
the very first citizen owned number plates therefore are S11#, S12#, S13#
they all belong to extremely rich families and will never be sold. you can see one of them at UOB plaza basement 1 carpark (sometimes it is shuttered shut), of course belongs to the Wee family
when you see uniques plates on small cars, (eg EA4A), means that that family got many many nice number plates and just use the smallest car possible to hold on to the plate. EA4A belongs to the cheong family and they own international plaza, which is where you can see this plate
there have been offers of up to $500k for some special plates, but when the owner is worth $20-30million, he is not going sell a plate for a few hundred thousand. and many of the wealthy believe that their personal number plates brought them luck. -

the smallest i saw was 3MID a few years ago, on a Merc E200.
The other day i saw 6MID driving out of MINDEF. It's a white E200 (w211), and there're 4 stars on top of the merc logo. -

SE1X used to be a BMW 5 series. The owner downgraded. He also has a SE2T which is on a mini pajero and a EF1_ sante fe which was on a 280S. Recently he sold away EN111E.
E1X used to be a blue w140 S280.
SK28M was on a E200k but on an altis now.
