Nope not quite boi86. Am new to the car forum and wanted to just find out what ideas are exchanged at the forum, the cars u guys (and gals to be politically correct of course) drive etc...

I've not driven one, but I have some experience in maintenance of sorts, for one. -

Have been driving an SL500 for about 1 year now. Smooth driving but not as exciting as a GTR or M3.
Will be looking to fit a AMG kit on it soon.
Would very much like to come to the Msia trip tomorrow but unfortunately will be travelling overseas. There is also no way that the SL can go anywhere close to a Evo/STi for 0-60 runs.
Thanks for the welcome though and hope to be able to join the next upcoming meetings.

SEI - That would be absolutely great if you could refer me to a place where I could get cheap AMG kits. Benzline is asking for about S$10k all in including installation and the mufflers.
Just curious which M3 did u end up buying coz I sold mine in Jan 2005 (black with 6 spd manual) through Autoinc. -

SEI - Thanks very much. Would be great if you could pm the contact details when you have a moment. Just curious whether you have the new S class as I am toying with the idea to change my E65 730 to a S350 or a CLS350?
On the M3 - I sold it for S$220k as well and it was a 2002 April reg car with about 21k on the clock. I guess it very much depends on finding the right buyer for the manual car coz there were quite a few enquiries as they were all very interested in the manual as it seems that people were saying that the SMG was a bit on the jerky side. The SMG versions at that time was asking for S$230-240k... -

if i were to own an SL... i will get:
1.bodykit (kleeman,brabus,carlsson)
2.muffler (eisenmann)
3.ECU chip
4.rims (AMG,Brabus,HRE,iforged)
5.LSD doors
supercharge if u want... 
anyway..if u want AMG bodykit.. PM SEI...he can get u cheap
