New car prices below 50k, 2nd hand cars above 50k ?

  Hi im actually not sure how you calculate scrap value and all this stuff but as i was looking through sgcarmart, i realised that a 2nd hand sunny / vios / lancer which could be obtained at around 50k is actually going for more than 50k although its second hand. why is that so ?

  yes COE but why these people still dare sell their car at such high prices when COE is at its all time low ? when u scrap u dont get back the COE right

  when is "that time"
  
  the time before "now time" COE somewhat higher than present prices.
  
  my previous Sunny... i get more $$ scrapping it than selling it 2nd hand.

  that provided that your loan is lesser then your paper value. if not u scap u no car drive still have to pay out somemore.

  They selling either to get their next dream car because it had gotten at less 15k cheaper now, or they are those who mis-calculated their expenses and found out they can't support the loan or car anymore. Lots of reason to sell.
