It's a dirt cheap price for a car at $9,500!!
But wad model of RX7 is this?
It's not a FC3S (Takahashi Ryosuke's car in Initial D ) isn't it?
It looks like an older generation RX7.
Is it worth buying? If u are a motorsports enthusiast on a budget..![]()
if i am not wrong e COE should end at feb 09. and one yr dep at 3000 is not realli dirt cheap. i think u could haf better choice. unless u die die wanna a sport car but cant afford one.Originally posted by markzz:http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-nOT5jYX-1030.html

Drum brakes has its plus point too ... imagine some oil is accidentally spilled on to your rear disc or your brake pad finished ... and you are on a steep slope with a jam infront of you ... i dun think the disc brake can save you from rolling back ba? (pls correct if wrong, this is my POVOriginally posted by zgim80:and shall i oso add, drum brakes shd be used in washing machines.. not a car..
remember this car is designed as a sports cars and IMHO sports cars should never have drums...remember tt drums are very prone 2 heat up and fading....Originally posted by johncooper:Drum brakes has its plus point too ... imagine some oil is accidentally spilled on to your rear disc or your brake pad finished ... and you are on a steep slope with a jam infront of you ... i dun think the disc brake can save you from rolling back ba? y cannot renew COE?Originally posted by delorean:its not at all worth it to buy. the dep is more than $3k a year, and bear in mind, IT CANNOT BE RENEWED, because the COE is only 5 years paid.
you will be force to scrap the car, and you cant take any money for the car body.
if you buy say another RX7 at the same price, left with about 2yrs +, but can be renewed, at least you are able to sell the car body for probably another $3k or so, even after you choose not to drive after the end of the COE. In this case, its more worth it.
because the car was last renewed only 5 years COE. Any car can choose to renew 5 yrs or 10 yrs COE. If a car chooses to renewed 5 years,, the car cannot be renewed. It will either be scrapped or exported. For a 1983 RX7, there is no value for export. Exporters don't export old cars nowadays, unless they are really classic cars, like for instance makes like Alfa Romeo, Lambo, Ferr. etc...Originally posted by AE86tofu:y cannot renew COE?
