It looks like an older generation RX7.
Is it worth buying? If u are a motorsports enthusiast on a budget..

runs a 12A engine wif an output of 105-115bhp. Odds are it would fall into pieces before u can say 'initial d'.. -

This car was one of the legends at its time. I can say more famous than AE86.

Drum brakes has its plus point too ... imagine some oil is accidentally spilled on to your rear disc or your brake pad finished ... and you are on a steep slope with a jam infront of you ... i dun think the disc brake can save you from rolling back ba? its not at all worth it to buy. the dep is more than $3k a year, and bear in mind, IT CANNOT BE RENEWED, because the COE is only 5 years paid.
you will be force to scrap the car, and you cant take any money for the car body.
if you buy say another RX7 at the same price, left with about 2yrs +, but can be renewed, at least you are able to sell the car body for probably another $3k or so, even after you choose not to drive after the end of the COE. In this case, its more worth it. -

because the car was last renewed only 5 years COE. Any car can choose to renew 5 yrs or 10 yrs COE. If a car chooses to renewed 5 years,, the car cannot be renewed. It will either be scrapped or exported. For a 1983 RX7, there is no value for export. Exporters don't export old cars nowadays, unless they are really classic cars, like for instance makes like Alfa Romeo, Lambo, Ferr. etc...Originally posted by AE86tofu:y cannot renew COE?
besides, the condition of that red RX7, is really bad. And the dealer will NEVER tell you about the COE re-newable issue until you mention about it. sad to say, for $9500, people thinks its cheap. Its not.
the price is more or less right for $9500>, cause the paper value is close to $8000 at the moment. But there are many RX7 between yr1981-1983 are renewed 10 yrs COE, and the COE paid for 10yrs is only about $14k+.
This REd RX7 COE 5 yrs paid for was $15k. its very high. which means if for 10yrs, the COE was about $30k.
