question about powersteering

  i was wondering for cars which has powersteering, will the car still be able to steer after the engine is shut off?

  where would you want to steer to after the engine is shut off?

  Depends on the vehicle u r operating using electrical power-steering or hydraulic power-steering.
  
  Electrical power steering, u activate the electricity can use liao.
  
  Hydraulic power steering, needs to powerup the engine first.

  my honda CR-V ran out of fuel once and the engine died when i was still moving the steering wheel damm hard to turn needed to use both hands to move the wheel and also the brakes dont work properly

  I drove the Daihatsu Charade in army camp before (tat time no license yet). It has no power-steering and itz very very hard to steer. I can imaging this on a much heavier CR-V.

  Yes.. the steering will still work. Juz need some manual arm power to steer.

  Charade... you should try the wrecker... 6-gear no power steering Tow truck. That would be a very good challange

  aiyah i lagi best la....once my 7 tonner got throttle linkage problem which caused the veh 2 Stall downhill....i stalled at 40KM/H but once it reaches 20km/h fucking hard liao....LOL heng my brakes use air so can brake easily
