Is AXA Car Insurance ok?

  I am about to renew my car insurance.
  
  Currently, with AIG as that came with the Toyota. Don't like the $500 excess but like the fact that can go back to agent.
  
  NTUC quoted same as AIG, but the IDAC/no agent workshop thing is getting bad press.
  
  AXA has quoted about $150 less than AIG/NTUC. Thinking of switching to AXA but have not heard much feedback about their claim process.
  
  Anyone can share their experiences with AXA?

  My old car on AXA.
  
  So far done 2 claims (claim others). Quite good.
  
  But AXA not under IDAC.
  
  Anyway, who cares about IDAC?

  Royal & Sun Alliance not bad.
  
  NTUC quoted me $2,700+ when I wanted to renew my insuance this year.
  
  But when I checked with Royal & Sun, I was quoted only $1,400+. A whopping $1,300 difference!
  
  The terms of the insurance are pretty similar. Moreover, the excess in Royal & Sun's case was only $400. And I get to choose my own workshop in case anything happens (touch wood)!

  seriously, anyone is better than NTUC. they are pathetic. claiming against them also like machiam "kei leng siao"

  NTUC insurance is not necessary cheap. Service and claim wise, they are CHEAP (radio ad also cheap.. ask their sleepy CEO tok ). Preminum wise.. they can actually be expensive! So, dun listen to their talk show BS.. check out other companies. Even if NTUC is really cheaper, dun try save that few bucks.. u'll cry when u need to claim! (touch wood lah.. especially if u have a new car)
