i spotted an aston martin DB9 on the PIE near Jurong East a few weeks ago. may i know how many AM are there in singapore? is there a AM V8 on the roads yet?

I saw an Vanquish S at queenstown
And i overtook him!!!

wat were u in? he must be pissed off. vanquish S some more. sadly, the car that passed me wasn't really pushing it (really takes care of his car) so can't hear that sweet V12. hope to see a AM V8 soon. the sound it creates is wicked!

One who buys an Aston Martin will not have performance as the top priority. It is more of a gentleman's sports car that is sleek, elegant and one that seeks to differ itself from the usual Ferrari and Lambo.
Even though it's not as fast as a Ferrari or Lambo, I bet the performance of any AM will be more than sufficient for most ppl out there

Aston Martin's dun target the lambo and ferrari flashy types.
It really is a gentlemen's sportscar. Simply its the style and the image you get. Cars are not just about performance you know.

and besides....the DB9 was also developed in the nurburgring so its definitely fast and the chassis is stiff....close 2 eyes will know one -
anyway, wat does everyone think of the new Jaguar XK? if i'm not wrong, the AM V8 uses the same engine but with added capacity (4.2 -> 4.3). the styling of the XK seems more modern and sleek. and it should be cheaper than the AM definitely. it should be a better choice despite it will be 80hp down on the AM. the noble m400 is a pure performance and trackday car. i think it would be too twitchy though, being mid-engined and RWD. just my thoughts.

no the writer was raving abt the car.. but it has only 450hp frm a v12 6 litre engine that redlines at 6000 and then it has a nought to 100 timing of 5.1.. i was like huh?? might as well get the evo u save 600k and turn heads as well...
i din have other stats with me at tt time and as they say first impression counts... din really mean to undermine AM though
sorry if i angered AM lovers out there
