Full tank Vs half tank

Hi ppl... do any 1 here knows, if topping up full tank will make your FC better or making it half tank?
Full tank = more weight
Half tank = the fuel "pin" expose to more air and eat up your pertol?

i used to tink full tank will cause the car to weigh more but then i doesnt make much of a diff... -
pumping it to full would actually help you mantain the oil tank. If during a long period of time, rust or dirt or even something may crystalize on the upper level of the tank. Too much air gap might also harm your tank. It would be advisable to pump to full. It does not matter, in the end you will be using how much you travel. But for lasting reasons, it would be best to pump to full.
especially if you are pumping in malaysia, must pump to he brim...make full use of it. Do you know on average, after you set the auto-pump and once it stops, you can actually pump in around additional 5 liter into the tank. Normally pple would juz set to auto and stop when the pump gun detect a certain lvl. So far I have manage to get for eg, auto stop at around 15ltrs, I manage to squeeze in another 6 lter but it took me about 20mins... causing a long Q...but who cares... When I mean to the brim....I really mean it... totally to the brim. lolz -

some people say that while pumping petrol u can shake ur car so that it can hold more petrol..i havent tried it b4..

there is a direct correlation between weight (including weight of petrol in tank) as well as fc. but i think its a slippery slope argument. how much is too much? u pump half tank, u still carry the weight of half tank. unless dun pump at all lor.
oh, i recall horror stories of rusty fuel tanks coz the owner often have the "half tank" mentality. remember, the fuel tank is made of metal. prolonged exposure to oxygen (ie half tank) coupled with petrol fumes is s sure way of corroding the insides of ur fuel tank. -

I don't understand the half tank rule. If the government is indeed concerned about the environment, they should give greater subsidies to hybrid cars. If they do not want so many cars in Singapore, they already can control the number of COEs. If they do not want people to use their cars too much, there is already the ERP.
Seems to me this rule is just about getting more revenue. -

Anyway... filling to the brim would take quite some time... I today juzz pump 24liter when my fuel was at 65%. LOLz.... took me almost 20mins...Pump all the way till cannot pump liao.... cozz I see the petrol cannot flow down anymore for 30secs...I presume it is really at the brim already...den stop.. wahaha. Normally when you fuel guage say it is full, You can actually top up around another 4-5 ltr. The auto-stop was at 17.5ltr...and I pump in additional 6.5 ltr to make it to the brim spilling.. lolz...
I tested with my car. If normal auto stop... the first 1/4 tank only got max 150km. But if to brim... first 1/4 tank can go 240km. -

LOLz.... took me almost 20mins...Pump all the way till cannot pump liao.... cozz I see the petrol cannot flow down anymore for 30secs...I presume it is really at the brim already...den stop.. wahaha. All these juz take time only, when the pump gun auto-stop and manual pumping comes in, slowly let the petrol flow in. In this way, it is reducing the bubbles. so by the time, it reach the max, bubbles would be at the minimum.

once i went in to JB and at the shell petrol kiosk i saw this singaporean
after the auto pump thing shut off by itself, he shake his car till i think the suspension will break. den he continue pumping.
not enough, he took out a rectangle wooden block, place it under the wheel where his fuel door is, reverse onto the block without turning on engine
and he continue pumping happily.
