Reckless P-plate Drivers

not ALL female drivers are like that lah. there are female drivers who are just as confident behind the wheel and on the road as any guy(personal experience, she was cussing slightly at another female driver
). all these are really case by case basis what. i've got so many friends who just got their driving license (in this case the P-plate in the front and back) and they drive pretty safely. no 'stunt'. -
ya consider tat a real bad experience... was the usuall thign la change lane den the van driver not happy... den chase me all the way from behind and drove beside me dun let me change lane he was at my right side and so sadly i wanted to exit right junction ahead...he wine down his window scold me point me finger all those den nvm.. i slow down he sped up infront of me and jam break... luckily was alert enuff.. i manage to jam my break also... was tat close ... den he just sped off...Originally posted by gallenng:so u experienced jam break drivers Before? share ur experienced

Oh I forgot to mention another culprit on our roads: Off Peak Car Plate drivers!
Yes, those RED color plates - they drive like they own the roads in their cheap little Korean Picantos, Kalisa minis, and whatever.
The danger in these drivers is that they don't drive often or frequently, and yet, they try to emulate seasoned drivers by cutting lanes, speeding, not signalling, and tailgating. -
I see the list of reckless drivers are adding on.. like this, there will be no end. anyway, reality check dudes, where there a not got reckless or experienced drivers, there will be bound to be some close encounters or accident happening on the roads everyday.
even a experenice driver can be reckless at times too... not everyone is a perfect driver on the road. it's takes only a few seconds to lose yourself on the road if you are not careful at that seconds even for an expereniced driver.
just my two cents of thoughts to share here, please do not be offended, not saying this to anger you guys here -

I don't deny this fact you just highlighted, but in my opinion, I equate recklessness as the by-product of 'Ego', 'Anger', and 'Impatience' on our roads. I question the act of RECKLESSNESS; what brings about recklessness?
A sensible motorist will never take to recklessness while driving. Be they young, be they old, be they experienced or inexperienced, be they educated or be they illiterates, does not dictate the type or motorists they are.
Good Temperaments, Patience, Humility, these are virtues a lot of people in Singapore sadly lack.
I drive a Jaguar, I got honked at numerous times on the road even though I have the right of way. I just proceeded ignoring their impatience. I even got honked at while at petrol stations; after refiliing I got in and was putting on my seatbelt, taking note of my mileage meter, and the car behind started honking even though he can just reverse and go around me. I didn't retaliate by honking back.
It takes quite a lot not to react in anger. -
Own a jaguar LOL, if u're driving jaguar it should be belong to your dad or u are firing a cannon. If someone drives a jaguar still care so much about all these little shits they can go drive some civic. And i am driving a Rolls Royce to work, and after work i drive my OPC out to chiong, i everyday drive, at night drive OPC i can say your experience is just at my knee here, not all OPC driver is unexperience with the road, some u have to call grandpa somemore!
So stop complaining here about wat your taxi driver told u about those drivers on the road. -
i am sometimes quite pissed with taxi drivers too.. but then again lets not forget tt they are trying to make a living here.. bussiness is tough nowadays seriously... i think none of us will fully understand their plight unless we are 1 of them...

all drivers can have their bad day ....
BUT, all the bad drivers/people i experienced on the road are:
1) taxi drivers out to grab customers, coasting all over the lanes looking for people rather then cars around them. and they think all cars will stop for them when they know you know they are rushing to grab their client.
2) lady drivers doing unexpected moves because they forget which way they are going OR where the hell they are, sometimes right along CTE!
3) trash dumpsters leaky leaky all over the road .... *STINKS*
4) 2B bikers with severe hallucination that their 125cc is a blackbird
5) drunk drivers after severe party therapy never fails to think their cars have special abilities.
6) passenger van/bus drivers who overwork themselves driving severe shifts, endangering the lives of their staffs on board. ever noticed these vehicles sometimes "drifting" on the E-ways ???
7) luxury car drivers who always change lane without signaling. taxi drivers standard phrase "see mercedes car signal spoilt, change lane no signal"
orchard road pedestrians jaywalking and hogging the crossings. -
In the end male drivers making the most mistakes..
THe bus driver,
THe drunk driver,
The cabby,
The merc driver,
The motorbiker..
Mostly r the males.

THe ratio is not as many compare to the male.
Well i felt that both r human so human do made mistakes regardless female or male. -

If you see a black mitsubishi mpv with a p plate pls don't post his number plate here. thank you.
anyhow. i am also a p-plate.. i "sometimes" exceed the speed limit and i do things like switch from the right most lane to the exit (decelerating) lane on the left across 4 lanes in one go and etc. but i always signal and check and go in between available spaces and hopefully dont cause anyone to have to brake or slow down cause of me cutting in. so far i havent got many honks. -

still p-platers do get victimized. even experienced drivers make mistakes once in a while, not very fair to blame e p-platers jus because they are new.
