  Let this be a thread to talk about what cars the prominent people in Singapore drive. An appeal, please only provide confirmed and proven information, meaning it's from the papers, or you've seen it yourself.

  1) MM Lee drives (is driven) in a Lexus
  
  2) President S R Nathan is also driven in a Lexus
  
  3) MP Lily Neo has a Merc, a Ferrari and a Porsche(which her daughter drives to school)
  
  4) Yaacob Ibrahim, the Minister of the Environment, drives a Toyota Prius (yes, sounds really humble but i saw it with my own eyes! )

  yeah... was at a seminar. LKY was due to arrive. I was sitting next to one of LKY many many PA's. He told me LKY do not trust other brands. He only prefers Lexus. Reason being.... I also don know why...hehehe

  wah the roof to cover his cars sure cost a few grands man..to protect his 10 million dollar ++ car assests and if i am not wrong he have a S-class right ?

  that's not the way to keep such cars. my uncle built a basement carpark for his cars...else it's a waste of fine workmanship, especially in this tropical climate.

  Lol what is an S-class compared to Zondas and Ferraris. Unless its a Brabus S73.

  Well both she and her husband are doctors... and successful doctors in private practice do earn big bucks.
  
  For instance, it is well-known that Dr Ng Eng Han took a big pay cut when he left his medical practice to become a Minister... and we all know how much Ministers are paid each year right. So just imagine how much he used to earn as a surgeon in private practice.
  
  If you visit SGH and happen to walk past the Singapore National Eye Centre carpark, you'll be able to see all the nice cars parked there in the staff lots... including a bright yellow Ferrari that's there almost every day. And these belong to docs in govt practice. Can just imagine what the staff carpark of private hospitals like Camden or Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre looks like.

  TV showed Dr Vivian Balakrishnan driving a Jaguar X-type, Khaw Boon Wan a Mercedes E-class, and Tharman Shanmugaratnam a Toyota Estima.
  
  Before August 2004 PM Lee drove a 1992/1993 model Honda Accord, don't know if he still drives now.
  
  I saw SM Goh driven in a light blue Mercedes S-class with SFJ reg a couple of times. Dr Tony Tan is driven in a silver Mercedes E-class with SCJ reg.
