Where is Honda Jazz aircon intake for recycled air?

I am trying to DIY a air filter for the aircon recycled air, but am having trouble finding the air inlet.
Opened up the plastic cover under dashboard on the passenger side, and I see voids with lots of cabling. Yet when doing the airflow test using aerosol can, the air is simply sucked through the cabling mess into some deep crevices. Is there some sort of hose or box that I can tape a filter to it? How to access it? -
Some money are not meant to be saved. Without pior knowledge it is better to leave the job to a air con specialist.

Is there such a thing as a ready made aircon inlet filter for Jazz in the first place? I haven't heard of one, that's why I'm considering DIY one.

Jazz/Fit doesn't come wif the air-con filter and u need to either get those 3M/caire/DIY/mugen? etc...if that's what u meant, then u r rite in saying that its at the passenger side/glove compartment.
if u r having a jazz, u should have the menu? page is 309/310 under maintenance - dust n pollen filter (for some types).

true to a certain extent but for jazz/fit, this air-con filter is easily installed/DIY. its just a 1 min thing (if i didn't read the thread starter wrongly).Originally posted by Praetorian111:Some money are not meant to be saved. Actually, it's my mom's car and it has an odour problem. Tried the Heater hot air thing, dettol/Lysol also no difference.
Wanted to use a steam cleaner and install a 3M carbon filter but could not find the hole to shoot the steam nozzle. I did read about the air filter from the forums, but thot all along is an optional accessory. After checking the manuals as mentioned by previous poster, discovered the secret compartment behind the glove compartment. Even with the filter removed, the odour problem persists. I think it's the evaporator coil that's giving off the odour. But since the fan rotor is between filter and the coil, need to find another way to get to the evaporator coil.
