damn it man...
had a fight with gf, then came back home, parking car, forgot to check left rear mirror.
huge dent on rear bumper.
anyone had this before?
where u sent for servicing? how much did it cost? thanks! -
the workshop is probably going to apply some kind of cement to fill up the dent, then respray the entire bumper. the respray is the expensive part. could be 100 plus to 200 plus. it's not easier to knock out the dent from behind. most of the time, workshop fill the dent with cement and respray.

dude the same thing happened to my car.
one thing for sure is that impossible to use painless dent removal as our bumpers are not metal. its like plastic. some one thing they will do is heat up ur bumper, push it back, and respray.
the labour charge depends. probably 100 bucks? den spray part another 100 ba. so u budget 200 for it shd be sufficent i hope -
mine palm size. front bumper. 150 bucks. queensway.

the technique they use to repair depends very much on their expertise. typical ones is the try to knock out the dent, those minor uneven they fill up then respray. the price 200 is normal. but most importantly, get a reliable workshop. some workshop dont do a good job, and months or years later u will see the effects of their repair on your bumper. some are dishonest. best is get recommendation from friends. if u own a car, u must have a reliable workshop you can go to for body repair works

Try the above. Like mentioned by the others, the will patch it up with putty (not cement). Drive down to them to get a quotation. I tried asking them over the phone the other time and they told me to drive down. So I guess you should just drive down to let them take a look.
They are quite good with the job and the price is reasonable. For those who have used their service before, they were formerly known as Chipsaway. They only re-spray the 'injured' part so the price will not be as expensive as re-spraying the whole thing. I was apprehensive then when I heard that they only re-spray the 'injured' part then. But I gave it a try cos I was kinda desperate to get something done at a lower price.
When I went to pick up my car, I can't even see the part that was dented. As a matter of fact, mine was not even a dent. It was a big scratch with a dent, suspected caused by those big lorry door. So I was quite happy when they fixed it for only $90. -
feel a bit better today, cos managed to pour hot water on the bumper n knock it back from the rear. now its jus a small dent. realised the bumper is jus one sheet of plastic. no wonder the damage was so great in comparison to my snail speed when parking. imagine the damage if i was going a bit faster.
got a quotation from a workshop:
repair and spray bumper: S$110
rear left tail light set: S$170!! !@#%$^%$&()
wtf man...oni the tial light cover crack andd now haf to replace the whole damn thing at daylight robbery price.
i think i'll jus switch to motorbike...signal light cover S$1...
