i am curious about those acronym use by merc & BMW, like
C
CL
CLK
E
S
SL
SLK........
anymore ?
for BMW
330 CI or I
or anything i left out ?

For the merc, lots, like the B, A, CLS, M, G, SLR, GL, R class. These are just for the passenger vehicles, they still have a whole other range for vans, busses, camper vans, trucks, unimogs, MPV...and don't forget the kompressor tag...Originally posted by archie84:hi everybody !

For the BMW, you missed out the X's and the Z's, the new badging will include an Si now. the Ci nomenclature will be discontinued i think... also they have the is for the X5's which is the top of the line sport... -
C = C Class
CL = C Class, Lacks Power
CLK = C Class, Lacks Power, Kaput
E = Expensive Class
S = S.hit Class
SL = S.hit Class, Lacks Power
SLK = S.hit Class, Lacks Power, Kaput
Ci = Consistently inverted i.e. turns turtle often -
yup i know got alot but i wanna know what it stand for ....

Is the E200 kompressor supercharged engine ah??I read from Carbuyer and they say it is supercharged..So are the engines supercharged?? -

So far, I know there is O305, O305G (G meaning articulated), O405, O405G, O405NH (low-floor) and O500.
There is also the Brazilian chassis labelled OF (front-engine) and OH (rear engine). Examples include OF1413, OF1417, OH1318, OH1625 -
