Nissan Latio paint chipped off

  hi all
  
  i drive a nissan latio sport and "autographed" on a car park wall this morning. I am totally pissed off with myself now and has been searching on how to mend this.
  
  I managed to remove the white scratches with Turtle Wax's 'Scratch and Swirl Remover' I bought at petrol kiosk.
  
  I do not really know how to go abt covering the chipped paint at the front of the bumper. Will welcome all suggestions...

  Try Yew Lip at Sin Ming. They do a good job at covering chip paint and repairing dents

  thanks for the suggestion. any idea how much will it cost? do they have the nissan latio color?
  
  the paint chip on my car is abt 5 cm only..

  Erm i don't know but you can go down for a quote. Not likely to cost more than a hundred. they have colour codes for most cars.

  Think the only way to restore your bumper paintwork is to respray.
  
  My bumper was scratched by some parking idiots.
  
  Yew Lip should be a good try. Heard it has alot of good comments. I have yet to visit them.

  spoke to angie soo from yew lip yesterday. quoted 120-150 for respraying bumper.
  
  she did not even hard sell.. bizness must be good. other places kept asking me to go and let them have a look.. "give you good price."
  
  one already promised 100.
  
  decision decision....

  I also called up angie before but she didn't quote me over the phone.
  
  Need to drive my car down to let her view my bumper condition before she gave me a quotation.
  
  I didn't go down cos i very busy then.
  
  But generally, think it's about $80-100 per bumper respray.

  hope i din sound like a carrot then.. she has the highest quote so far from what i gathered..

  If someone quote me low, i may doubt his workmanship and material quality.
  
  If someone quote me high, i may look like a carrot head in his eyes.
  
  Guess we need to find out what's the normal market rate before considering different price quotations.

  all these things are practical...meaning u have to go down take a look at their workmanship so that u can decide better. all these heresay will lead to no where.
  
  if they're so bz, definitely they have cars already being ready. go n see if it suits ur taste. i believe ur 5 cm mark can be touched up unless its a deep cut and requires patch work.
