Australian (Vic) 'P' License in Singapore

Hi,

Was wondering if I would be allowed to drive in Singapore on my Australian probationary license? I'm 18, Singaporean, and passed my drivers about 3 months back.

you need a valid foreign driving license to be able to convert to SG license.

i think probation already is a Qualified license already.

to convert, go to any of the 3 driving centres in singapore. u need to pass the Basic Teory Test of Driving (aka BTT). cost $6

Is there a 'grace period' during which I would be allowed to drive on my license? I'll be home for only a month, and would like to be able to drive immediately.

Convert it to international license or else take the theories in order to drive in Singapore. Whatever it is you are a Singaporean and driving without a valid license is an offense in Singapore

Get the IDP from your local RAC Victoria.

As long as yours is a full licence and not a learners permit, you should be able to convert to local licence irregardless if you are still a probational driver.
