  Its like when you floor the gas pedal then release and you'll see bright bright fireworks coming out from your exhaust Actually it's got to do with the air-fuel mixture... where too much fuel is injected into the combustion chamber, resulting excess unburnt fuel exiting via exhaust with a PRAHH-PRAH---POM! something like that

  another way is to install some kit in ur exhaust...
  and another way is to have anti-lag system... or what initial d pple say " the misfiring system"

  Cars very hard to do.
  M'bikes like those Kips KRR and those SP150 easier. Its like a shotgun kind of sound. hehehe.

  ^ what what de? he's talking about turbocharged system, something that reduces the turbo lag when it's spooling up... omg why don't you like... use www.google.com or something instead.

  ALS = Anti Lag System.
  
  This system can be enabled with the use of aftermarket ECU provided they have such an option.
  
  This involves rough idling as the engine has to keep the turbo spooling so that when throttle is applied, full boost is delivered and hence eliminate of turbo lag.
  
  Not recommended because ALS will kill your turbo, engine, and exhaust pretty quick. However wrc/race/track cars can afford to rebuild and change their turbo several stages.

  yep heard tt like after 5000km the turbocharger and the exhaust manifold must be replaced...
  
  uses ECU to retard the timing of spark plug of ONE of the cylinder i am told... so tt the explosion happens when the unburnt air fuel mixture is leaving the cylinder and halfway in the exhaust manifold... therefore this explosion happens beside the turbines of the turbocharger so it will keep spooling even when foot is off accelerator.. and then u will see backfire then hear veh loud "bang bang" tt will wake up the whole neighbourhood, irritate the person tailgating u and draws TP to u like bees to honey

  i thought is to clear the engine of unburnt fuel to make sure that there is clean combustion the next cycle?
