private driving class 3A instructors intro

  hi.
  i wld like to sign up for pte driving.
  i actually hv some problms finding a gd pte driving instructors.
  i wld prefer to 'fetch n send' rather than to go to pick up pt.
  which many i found are not what i want. n fees charges are kinda ex
  like $45/hr.
  
  any1 who have a nice instructor for recommedation, do let me know
  thanks.
  oh ya. prefer test centre at ssdc.

  go to kg ubi man.. its the paradise for pte driving lesson!
  u cant find any other driving centre with tt much amount of pte driving instructors

  Go to Eunos MRT car park, you'll see a couple ov Toyota Vios or and old 5 door Nissan hatchback with the "Lee Soon Tien" decals. Call the number on the car or just ask the instructor there.

  Hi Pyjamasgirl,
  
  Wherever you go, please don't resort to "Soon Tien" Driving school. Infact i just blew my money this morning for my first lesson and have to gone through an hour and a half well... actually an hour and 15 mins of "SUFFERING"
  
  To be detail this is what the instructor "told" me to do:
  
  30 mins to step on the accelerator pedal and kept it at 1.5
  15 mins to show how exactly you should adjust your mirrors
  gave you a cheap plastic steering wheel and practice how to "TURN" it and if you didn't do it well he gets frustrated and scold you.
  back to stepping the accelerator pedal again.
  Didnt on the air con giving lame excuse that he is sick and he only on the fan. or probably he just want to save fuel!!!
  
  Overall...i would give "SOON TIEN DRIVING SCHOOL" rating of 1/10!

  It's just your 1st lesson bubblybubble and i see there is nothing wrong in asking you to do the above imo.
  
  You need to know the basics before you are allow to drive on public roads (since you are taking pte, most lessons will be on public roads) and guess what .. Driving schs students also doing the same thing but not as bad as u think i assume.. Driving sch students get to drive VERY SLOWLY on the 1st lesson ard the circuit otherwise its just moving forward and backward for 1st timer behind the wheels.

  i still remember my first lesson i got to turn that bloody cheap fake looking wheel on a kerb somewhere in the circuit.
  then the instructor open the bonnet and start talking in some alien language and pointing to some alien looking technology.
