Toyota Vios Vs Mitsubishi Lancer

The price for both the cars are about the same. But for me, I prefer the lancer design rather than vios. I am a guy who needs to travel alot everyday so I intend to get either one of the cars mention above. Which one is better? ( in both fuel efficiency and performance ) Thanks

Vios is better in terms of FC and power.
Besides FC, do you consider cabin space and boot space? -
I do have the same problem too...vios or lancer....
For i wanted to buy vios(manual), my dad wanna buy lancer(auto)........
I wouldn't mind lancer if it's a manual....but...haiz.....in a dilema leh....an zua gong????? -
vios is definitely superior in terms of FC.. lancer is notorious for being fuel-hungry.. n the lancer i used to drove tends to vibrate quite vigourously when >120km/h..

Vios can be quite unstable if > 100 km/h, comments from vios owners.
If really concern about FC but need extra space, get MT. Lancer MT or sunny MT can give quite a decent FC.
If space not req'd, get vios AT. Frequent starts and stops here during peak hours can be quite a hassle. -

I've done 110kmh with driver and passenger only. No issues on stability. Maybe on my next trip on the NS highway, I will try there. ;-)Originally posted by mr sunray:I see.

hi guys.
i never tried vios before, but i went for lancer... placed my order in march but still yet to receive it... cant wait... i going for lancer becoz i feel its more stable... i took vios before and doesnt give me the same feel as lancer... no doubt in terms of FC, lancer lose to vios, but according to a uncle in a car workshop, he told me difference not too much... -
Driven both b4... owned a MT lancer, and regularly drove my frens' AT vioses.... must admit that vios has better FC and is a nice easy-to-drive sedan... only thing I dun like abt vios is the steering response... not intuitive n responsive compared to all the other cars I have driven.
